Jeremy let his head fall on the pillow, tired although so little time has passed. He was sweating, and felt much more pain than he demonstrated. However, he forced a smile when he saw Alice crying, trying to calm her.

The baby began crying and made Alice smile as she cleaned him as he was bathed in blood "shhh baby, mommy got you"

Alice cut the cord and cleaned him best she could, it was really a very small baby, six lbs, yet he had felt huge at how narrow his birth canal was.
