"I don't even remember what happened, not really. I just remember those delicious ribs."

[Eskal]

"Yeah. Those ribs were amazing. We should go back one of these days."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"We should. But for now, I have to finish copying those records. Goodness, why was on my schedule after that? I can't even remember."

[Eskal]

"Did you write it down?" Marius asked.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Yes, but I believe I left it in my other carriage. Which was set on fire."

[Eskal]

"Did you cross some mages or something?" Marius asked as he sipped his water.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Cormac did it." Astien stated matter-of-factly.

[Eskal]

"Really?" Marius said with slight shock. "I mean I know he threatened to burn down that one shop, but I never thought he'd really do something like that." He sipped his drink. "So...where did the current carriage come from?"

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Cormac felt bad about destroying the carriage, so he worked and bought a new one."

[Eskal]

"He must have worked for months to afford that carriage. It's one of the best ones I've ever seen." Marius thanked the waiter as he brought them their meals.

"He did. We were stuck in that town for months, both of us working all day and night. I'm not entirely sure what he did, but I put my healing skills to work." Astien began soaking his pancakes in syrup, then practically crammed the whole stack in his mouth.

[Eskal]

"To earn that much money in such a short amount of time he would had to have been an escort or something," Marius mused with a chuckle.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"No, I think he was stripping. Certainly pole dancing."

[Eskal]

"Did he tell you?" Marius asked. "I wouldn't think you'd want your son to be a stripper."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"My son can do what he wants. If he wants to strip, then I suppose I can't stop him. I didn't find out until after the fact, anyway. Only way I know he was at least pole dancing was this… guy he hung out with."

[Eskal]

"Oooh. So as far as he knows, you don't know that be pole danced?" Marius ate some of his bacon.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"I think he knows that I have an idea." Astien shoveled eggs into his mouth.

[Eskal]

Marius nodded and ate his pancakes.

"Oh, I just remembered something. I've been meaning to ask, are you capable of getting pregnant?"

[Eskal]

Marius nearly choked on his food and washed it down with some juice. "Not that I'm aware of. Why do you ask?"
