As the inning continues, Josh keeps playing with no additional problem. He does notice two other players flinch for seemingly no reason which makes him wonder.

When the inning ends, Nate waddles back to the dugout concentrating on getting to the bench before the contraction that is building up reaches its peak. He notices some of the other players wince a bit wondering if is just normal pain from playing with big bellies or if some of them have started labor like him

Josh waddles back to the dugout and sees Nate on the bench. He puts is arm around his friend's shoulder for support and ask "how are you holding up." Then he slowly works his way onto the floor feeling relief on his back.

Nate is sweating heavily and cant say anything for a minute until his belly relaxes and the contraction ends " I'm alright but I think I have some company in the labor department" He looks over to a teammate who is hunched over in the corner holding his belly

Looking over with Nate, Josh replies "better than him anyway." Now that more of his teammates were entering labor he began to worry about his delivery, it would not be his favorite part.

Nate notices Josh's worry "Hey it will be ok. Ill be with you while you deliver if you want"

"Thanks, that means a lot" Josh said before trying to get his head back into the game.

Nate sits back, his huge belly heavy in his lap he pants as he feels the next contraction start up. He braces himself for the pain to peak but it seems to keep getting worse and worse as the seconds tick on. Finally it does reach its peak and he feels a pop and gush as his water breaks.

As soon as Josh heard the POP he turned to look at his friend, it took a moment but he saw the the wet spot and realized what happened or is happening. He struggled to get up "where are you going?" he asked, still trying to get up.

Josh, who has only managed to sit up so far, grabs Nate's arm predicting he was going to get up. "How do you want to do this?" Josh ask.

"Are you going to the nurses willingly, or am I going to have them drag you away to give birth" Josh clarified, then he added "I saw and heard your water break."

"I can finish the game. Its one more inning. Im not giving birth alone!" Nate says

"Nate I don't want you to hurt yourself, or the babies because of your stubbornness. How would that be fair to them?" Josh argued "one contraction at a bad time and you fall and injure them and yourself."

"I cant do it alone! I will be fine ok? You arent in labor so you get to finish th game. it sucks!"

"I'm not saying its fair, but it is best. Your water has broken that means that you will be forcing the babies are ready to come out, it is time." Josh, who had just managed to get up with his massive pregnant belly, argued "and you are not alone in labor, other guy are having contractions. You are just the furthest along."

Nate wants to argue but he knows Josh is right, especially since a new contraction is has hit him like a ton of bricks "AARRGGHH" He grips his belly nearly falling over

Josh moves to help Nate and helps him onto the bench. "I will go let someone know" he tells Nate. "I wish you the best of luck, and I will be sure to score for you" Josh turns to go to the medical tent. 'I am glad I did not have to tell Nate he was holding us back to get him to listen' Josh thought.

Nate watches Josh go to the medical tent and forces himself off the bench and back out onto the feild knowing that when he does, they cant take him out of the game until the inning is over
