She looks at him surprised. "I wasn't implying you do it for me," she said embarrassed. "But if you would, I would be greatly appreciative."

Ryne smiled. "It's alright. Glad to help. When can we get started?" He asked.

"Tomorrow. You'll need a full physical and bloodwork. Can you come to the clinic at ten?"

Ryne nodded. "Sure. Anything I need to do to prepare?" He asked.

"No eating after midnight, for the blood work."

Ryne walked back home and grinned at the thought of carrying a baby. He always wanted a family and he might be getting one. By the next morning, Ryne was ready and already at the clinic.

Amanda comes in, wearing black scrub pants, and a purple scrub top. "Come on in," she says, opening the door to the first exam room.

Ryne walked in and smiled. "Hey Amanda. Is everything ready?" He asked as he was excited.

"Yes, hop up here and we'll draw blood first," she says patting the exam table. She turns and gathers the blood draw supplies from a drawer.

Ryne got on the table and laid down. He held out his arm and awaited for Amanda.

She tied a band around his arm and began to look for a vein. "Make a fist please," she instructs. When he does, she finds a vein. "A little cold now," she wipes with alcohol. "Little pinch," she says, gently inserting the needle

Ryne stayed still and waited for Amanda to finish.

"Good," she says, sending the four tubes with a nurse. She places a small bandage on his arm. "Ok, any medical problems?"

"No. Been healthy my whole life." Ryne said.

"Good," she says, taking her stethoscope from around her neck. "Let's take a listen," she says, and places it on his chest.
