I pull away. "What's it matter to you, anyway?" I curl my tail around my feet. True, there are a few girls in my pack but.. but they're not what I'm looking for in a mate. "What about you? Where's your alpha?"

I hum in dissaproval. That sounds awful. True, a marriage alliance between packs can prove to be useful, but I think there has to be love.
"I'm sorry. Our parents can be cruel sometimes, yeah? When I first became alpha my father controlled me. He was still leading the pack- I was just the image." I put a stop to that quickly though. I control the pack without his help.
