They chat for awhile recounting the journey so far to Kyle's mother. "So, yeah, we are gonna challenge Brock to a gym battle." Kyle told his mother, "Then we'll stay at the house tonight, if it's ok Mom."

"Tch, not bad." Brock said as the blow was too quick for Geodude to dodge. "Geodude, Sand Attack, followed by Rock Throw!"

Raticate dodged both attacks. "Raticate, use Iron Tail one more time!"

"Sidestep it and Tackle!" Brock orders. Geodude strafes to the side, leaving Raticate vulnerable for a clean hit from its Tackle.
