"Yes, i hope the remaining several months would be sufficient for us to make a decision." He hummed cupping the belly. "Well I guess we gotta get going. Just stop for a stretch or whatever."
The rest ofghe journey was smooth until when they arrived at a shabby town to pass the night. Once they entered the motel requesting for one room, they started getting strange looks. Alexhad with him bags that obscured his belly, but Jethro could feel the judging looks they were recieving. He sincerely hoped they didnt land on a homophobic town.

Alex noticed as well, he tried not to let it bother him and brushed it off. The town was small but slightly bigger then the last one he was worried but was a vary good actor about it. He wondered if the man behind the counter would turn them away and what his excuse might be. Were these people staring at him because they somehow knew he was pregnant or was it because he was with Jethro? For a moment he thought back to getting attacked at the school and schook his head, this could be dangerous.

Jethro was wieghing his options. This was the nearest town they could settle on though. He turned and with a slightly louder sound than he would usually use, called Alex over. "Hey buddy, as your uncle i got the obligation to bring you back home unscratxhed, so come on up, and dont give me that look for needing to share a room with your beloved uncle. We are running.out of funds ya know?" He grabbed on Alex's shoulder and squeezed it.

Alex looked up at him but he caught on in moment. "I know, it's just you snore." He grumbled, it helped that Jethro looked a bit older then Alex anyway. This would work. He could almost feel the eyes moving away from them. the man behind the counter studdied them a bit longer then handed over a key to a room and let them go.

Jethro didnt take over the bags as he would usually do, though he kept a hand on Alex's waist when they walked along the corridor. Tonight, they would have to be extea cautious even though thry seemed to have fooled the people. They entered the room and Jethro's first instinct was to clse all curtains and scan around for any possible ways to look into the room.

Alex shut and locked the door behind them he also locked the window before sitting down at the edge of the bed. "Some town.." He siad vary quietly as if he expected someone might be listening.

Jethro sighed and sat down holding Alex's hand in his own. "Yea. . Let's not.linger here for too long lest they discover some thing. Let's get a hot bath first, might needa leave early tomorrow."

"I like both those idea." He needed sleep, but staying here more then one night was stupid and he didn't think it would be safe. After a few minutes he got up and ran a bath he relaxed in it letting the water ease his sore muscles. His back bothered him normaly at the end of the day partly from ridding so long.

Jethro remove his clothes and joined Alex. He slipped in behind him, making some water spill over rhe tub. "Looks like I am too heavy... " jethro chuckled and said though he didnt remove himself. He sighed in great relief feelin the hot bath relieving his tire as well. Slippin his hands down into the water, he kneaded the tight muscle of Alex's, pushing him.slightly up the water with the tip of his belly surfacing.out of water.

Alex smiled and relaxed he knew they were going to have a bit of mess to clean up wipping water off the floor but at the moment he didn't care and was rather content with this. "thanks." he tilted his head back and kissed Jethro once.

The belly was sufficiently largw to be noticed, especially now that they were naked. Jethro washed his younger lover, his hair, his chest, his belly, even his intimate parts with a strictly platonic touch. He would occassionally kiss his temple and his face, liking how he get to be close to Alex. He didnt think he would get used to this, his heart still pounded that much faster whenever he was near Alex.

Alex wasn't even blushing, he had grown comfortable around Jethro and was content with being with him. It was what they had always talked about off and on, running away. Perhaps, it wasn't quite the way it had originally been planned but even so Alex was happy as long as he had Jethro with him.
When the water began to grow cold he eased himself out of the water, with a little help from Jethro and grabbed a towl to dry himself off.

Jethro readied himself as well, occassionally getting into Alex's way with how tiny the bathroom was. "So what's the plan for dinner? I am thinking it could be a little risky if we go out for it. Your bump couldn't really be hidden taht well now and they most probably wouldn't welcome any carrier around town." Jethro frowned as he put on hsi shirt, thinking of ways not to attract too much attention.

Alex thought for a long few moment, "we could just order something, there was a pizza place on the way in im sure the numbers around here someplace." He didn't much like the idea of going out anyway. The town hadn't like the idea of Jethro and himself being together they would definitely freak out over a carrier.

Jethro nodded agreeing with Alex. He wouldn't want to risk anything now, not when they were so close to succeeding. THey ordered pizza and Jethro went out to the front desk to take them, staying low profile not wanting to attract any attention from the people gathering at the bar just beside. It wasn't when he returned to the room that he let out a relieved sigh. He hadn't been on such high alert for a long time now. perhaps even more alert than the night when he freed Alex.

Alex looked up at Jethro once he was back in the room and the door was shut. "Everything alright?" He hadn't seen Jethro this on edge in awhile. Granted, he could understand why. "Come on, " He patted the spot next to him on the bed moving over a bit so Jethro would have a place to sit.

"yea. Should be alirght. I dunno. Perhaps we really should leave as soon as possible tomorrow. Let's say... 7?" He thought as he put down the pizzas. The night was still early and if they retire early, it could be they would still catch a few hours of sleep. "we could stop at the next time earlier. THis place just kept making me feel uncomfrotable."

"Yea, I don't like it either.. Lets just go early." He agreed taking a piece of pizza, he hadn't realized how hungry he was before now but he was glad to have something to eat. Between the two of them they pretty much finished it.

Jethro use a tissue to wipe away the stains from Alex's mouth and fingers, kissing away the final trace of tomato paste on his lips. "There, all set." He smiled lightly and began tidying for bed. He had everything packed so they wouldn't need to spend too much time packing the next day. With the things set, he took out a handgun from his bags, loading it, and put it under the pillow. You could never be too careful, that's what he head lerant from his army days.

Alex tossed a glance at Jethro, for a moment it almost looked like he might disprove but then his mind went back to what had happened at the school and he decided not to. Instead he curled up on his side turned off the beside lamp and closed his eyes. It was early, but Alex was tired anyway.
