jethro went on to refill the gas watching Alex stretch himself. Tonight they might have to build a camp near the road, the area beoming too remote that it was imporbale for them to find a proper place for the night. "Hey Alex, anything you wanna buy from the shop? Peanut butter?" He asked with a smirk thinking on how many bottles Alex had consumed over the last few days.

Alex roll his eyes and chuckled lightly, but he did indeed pick up a jar of peanut butter as well as grabbing a few things just encase they did end up camping, at least they would already have dinner covered for tonight. After that, and eating a bit of lunch then walking a bit more he got ready to get back on the bike with Jethro. At least no one here seemed to pay the two much attention or care much.
(feel free to tell me if I skip to much, just there wasn't much to do sooo.)

(Nope that's fine. Do you wanna continue with the road trip or maybe get them to the cottage directly?)
Before they could start though, Jethro asked with a smirk. "Hey do you wanna drive for awhile? You know, while your belly is still not large enough to get into the way..." he eyed teh belly that had somehow appeared to be larger already than when they first left the school. "It's just one straight road so it's easy. SO? wanna try?"

Alex nodded, "Yea, alright." He acted calm but really he was quiet excited to drive and he wasn't bad at it either, it was different having something to do other then just watch trees pass.
They would spend anther night in the woods and then anther full day traveling it was nearly fully dark when they pulled up to the old cottage. The cottage it's self needed a bit of work but it had running water and electricity. It was heated by wood . The roof had a leak or two from lack of repairs and it definitely needed to be cleaned but otherwise it was nice. The view from up here was also great. There was a local town near by they hadn't passed threw and the house was close to a running stream so they could go fishing.

Jethro had taken up the driver's seat again the around afternoon leaving Alex napping on and off on his back, him making sure Alex didnt loosen his grip on his waist throughout. He got off and carefully extracted the still drowsy Alex off the ride and lifted him up going into the house. "There, I had carried you over the threshold. Oh well, we are both grooms so perhaps you could repeat that after our baby arrived." He chuckled and murmured to Alex.

Alex laughed lightly and once he was set down looked around a bit flipping on the lights. "It's nice here." He said softly still rubbing sleep from his eyes. He was tired, it was getting late but at least they were finally here. He grinned wrapping his arms around Jethro and kissing him deeply. "I love you." He said pulling away for a moment and meeting Jethro's eyes.

Jethro smiled into the kiss, his heart swelling feeling so much love towards Alex. He looked straight into his young lover and said wiht a solemn tone "And I love you too, Alex. Thank you for everything, and i am so happy we finally got to be together under the sun." He nuzzled against his neck and felt the warmth of his lover. Togheter they ascended the stairs, holding Alex's hand in his and went into the bedroom together. "A hot bath first? I would set the bed." He kissed Alex and asked.

Alex nodded and found the bathroom, this place was just as he remembered it as a child. He had come here off and on for vacations but his family didn't go anymore, they still owned the property but left it here to rot for the most part, well at least it wouldn't be going to waste. Alex got into the bath relaxing into it and letting the water calm him.

Jethro looked around and located some shabby bedsheets but they would have to do with how limited their supplies were. At least all utilities seemed to be functioning well. He had everything settled as best as he could, and had cleared the air so when Alex emerged from the bathroom with his hari still damp, the room was looking inhabitable. Jethro put Alex in bed and kissed him. "I would be in teh shower, just get comfortable and sleep first, don't wait for me. We could explore the house tomorrow."

Alex looked up at him "Alright..goodnight, thank you." He pulled the blankets over himself curling up in them. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep. He was tired, and after a night of camping glad to be back in a real bed.

They had settled in the cottage well, both enjoyed outdoor life and they kept the visits to the town at a minimal, only getting essentials and always stocking up whenever they did go. It was another afternoon adn they had went fishing. The weather was getting cold quickly and this could be their last time able to fish before the river froze up. Sitting on the banks, Jethro pulled Alex over to sit. "You want a fish soup tonight or just grill it?" His nose was red from teh cold air though his smile was warm.

"Grill it." Alex said leaning back, he was sitting on the ground with his back against a rock. Not that comfortable but better then standing. His belly only seemed to grow everyday now as time passed. They still had quiet a bit to do before they were ready for the baby but Alex's pregnancy was vary obvious. He reeled in his line "It's going to be cold tonight."

"yea, i guess we should bring in more wood when we return." Jethro looked at the clouds and agreed. "Perhpas we should grab an down quilt next time we visited town. It was said that we had a cold winter ahead. And gotta be prepared if the electricity was cut. By the way, have you made the final decision on teh crib?" Jethro pulled in Alex's line and unhooked the fish, putting it in the bin beside. They had made some catches today, perhaps the fish were all out to fatten up themselves to prepare for the coming storm.

Alex tilted his head, "No not yet." With a bit of help from Jethro he got to his feet and began heading back with him. Alex shrugged, "What do you think?" They had most things together wtich was good because getting to town would become much harder when snow fell.

"I think that cherrywood one reallly is quite nice. Besides.... we never know if we would to re-use it, adn how many times we are gonna reuse it so why not buy one that's durable." Jethro smiled wounding his hand around Alex's waist, going down the sslightly slippery road.

Alex was quiet for a moment though he was still smiling. He hadn't really thought about having more kids after this. The thought hadn't occured to him yet but he didn't mind the idea. "Yea, alright thats a good idea." When they got back to the house Alex washed his hands and helped clean the fish to cook for dinner.

"You are really becoming the expert here.... to think at first you had been throwing up to the taste of it. This would be the mark confirming you have overcome the mornign sickness period." Jethro teased while preparing for the pasta and side dish to go with the fish.

Alex chuckled , Jethro was right during there first week when they had only really had fish Alex could barly deal with it. Let alone clean them or be around the smell. He had pretty much survived off the leftovers from the trip and peanut butter. The smell still bothered him slightly but he really didn't mind cleaning and eating the fish.

Jethro stole glances from Alex and snickered slightly noticing how his bump had definitely grown. It could be the carefree environemrnt and the elimination of mental pressure. He looked to have filled out a bit, with a healthy glow now on his face, perhaos something almost appearing like "motherly glow" as they always said.

When he was done cleaning them Alex rinsed everything off then began cooking them. He really wasn't to bad given the supplies they had with them at the moment. He glanced over his shoulder once at Jethro and chuckled slightly when Alex caught him staring.
