I don't know if this question is on here or not but. My question is how dose a member earn a gold star under our username?

It's an indicator of your member status, which is based upon how many posts you've made on the site.
Lyric explains Member status a bit in his two posts in the topic of "Member Status" here in the "Questions, Comments, Concerns" section (I've linked to it below jsut for a quicker route to it).
