Darnel smiles watching and he leads them to the tent waiting for them. It was already stocked with everything they would need including bandages and healing ointments for Darnel and bedding, blankets and even some toys for the foal. two large basins of warmed water for washkng and cleansing stood waiting to one side near a fire that was warming the tent, guarded by a small barrier to prevent willow stumbling into the flames. "Looks like they are living up to their reputation of being very hospitable" he says "And you are breaking your tribes reputation, by being a living attentive mother"

"Is cliff climbers arnt that cold to our young." He said defesivly. Though they were tough on them they weren't crule. He gently bent down to look his foal in the face. He leaned in and kissed her cheeks. She squealed with delight. "We love our children but we must make them tough from youth we literally dwell in cliffs if they arnt tough they'll die. One wrong move could cost them there life." He said seeming kinda distracted.

he nods "Well we aren't on the cliffs anymore, we are ground level, so she can be taught to run and play on the feilds and planes" he says with a smile "Looks like they have prepared bathing water, would you like a hand bathing her or will you be alright?"

"All be fine though i might nerd help with myself my middles still a bit tender." He gently lifted his foal into the tub and watched as her eyes whent wide. She started splashing about. He reached up and grabed a peice of moss coated in frangant oils and started to srub her gently. As he scrubbed he was shockedto see her muddy brown hair was actualy redish brown. He gently steped in with her to scrub her body more easily.

Watching silently with a smile, the stallion started undoing his bandages in preparation to clean himself. it was difficult with a few, having gotten stuck to his wounds he had to take splash some water on them to soak them off before they could be removed. his white hide marred by ugly black stitches and red sore looking wounds where they werent stitched shut "Remind me never to cross paths with an angry mountain lion again" he says jokingly ss he now waits his turn.

"Oh yay unless your bible climber that not very smart I tangled with one and nearly lost a hoof." He said smirking as her gently placed his daughter on the outside of the tub. He started to bathe him self managing to get most of his front and some of his back but having to stop flinching. "Mind scrubing my back and back half for me?" He asked hair wet and wavy down his back he scooted it to one side.

he nodded and gave a light groan as he got up, he stepped over and did as requested "Mm, well it wasnt for the fact im so big, i doubt i would have gotten away, it gave up asfter a hard enough kick though" he says as he scrubs at his backs

"I managed to kick it square in the jaw knocking of it teeth out it ran of squealing." He said looking at his back leg where he limped. He never could forget how he ended up facing that mountain lion.

"heh, i got mine in the chest, but then, i have big hooves" he says with a chuckle as he continues to clean him "but look at it this way, it made us the stallions we are today, and permitted us to meet one another. so in my books, thats a good thing" he smiled sweetly showing he truely did mean he was glad they were together.

Soto blushed deeply. "I supose i must be happy for such things swing as you make every thing better." He said wringing out his hair the bright rrd tresses falling down his backand spilling over to mid leg.

he smiles and rinses him off before pushing most of the water out of his fur and helping him from the tub. "Here, come dry yourself by the fire, i can wait till you are dry" he says with a smile and tail wag/flick

Soto gingerly layed down favoring his back hoof still. He layed with his faol who was fighting sleep.

he smiled petting them both "Maybe we should get her into the bed setup for her?" he says "Or you wobt be able to get up if you need to without waking her"

He gently lifted the foal placing her in her bed gently. He stroked her head till she dozed off. He then turned to Darnell. "Now get your bath itll help sooth your wounds."

he chuckles "I hope so... they itch something dredful... its like i have a thousand fleas in only a few spots" he says as he makes his ewy over and gets into the tub.

Soto steped over taking the moss from him and gently scrubs away the dirt on his coat and skin.

he gave a relieved groan as he was washed clean, shuddering a little and trying not to show that it bothered him when the moss was drawn over one of his cuts "so what brought you all the way out here?" he asks

"I was thrown heard after the the head of the beards son sexually assulted me I got in my licks. But I washed away the evidence so when I was acused of beating him to a pulp no one believed my acusation plus who would hes the head of the beards son. I wandered for some time in denial then acceptance came with the contractions." He had stoped scrubbing tears forming in his eyes. The thought of the assault was painful.

he nods reachkng over he pulls him close and gives the top of his head a gentle kiss "That wont happen any more... ill make sure of it" he tells him almost firmly. once the finished washing him he stepped out to dry "Should probsbly rebandage and use those ointments... xare to help me again?"

"Sure I'm good at this i was hoping one day to be a healer myself." He gently applyed the salve with his fingers then cearfuly wraped the wounds. He hands so gentle and soft one could feel any pain. "Better now?"
