Quetzalcoatl grumbled deep from the back of his throat, eyes glancing away as he scraped a bit harder at the dirt. "I don't want my own human," he mumbled. "Once my son is born, that will be all the company I need. Nor do I need your pity. My temple back in the homeland is plenty good." But Quetzalcoatl conceded to the other demands. He would apologize, though he wouldn't mean a word of it. Nodding, he transformed into his human shape and followed Tecciztechatl inside.
