The nurse comes back and ask Richard to lay back and spread his legs. He does so. The nurse says "I need to check to see if and how far you have dilated."

Daisy pulled the chair from the corner of the room to the side of the bed, grabbing Richards hand and waiting for it to happen.

The nurse sticks her fingers up and feels around..."your eight cm dialed...almost there!!! The Dr should be here shortly" thank you" Richard says

Daisy smiled, “you’re really close”, she told him, “do you want to do something to speed it up every more?”

Richard ask the nurse "what can I do in the meantime?"

The nurse looked over at the couple and smiled, “well you can walk around, sway together or bounce on the yoga ball”, she told him, before excusing herself and leaving the room.

"I'd like to walk around, but, may I also have the yoga ball?" Richard ask. He looks at Daisy with a smile.

Daisy stood up and grabbed the ball from where it was placed, in the corner of the room, “here you go babe”, she said.

"Thank you, can we walk a little first?" He says while grabbing Daisy's hand.

“Of course”, she said, holding Richards hand and using her other arm to support his waist.

Richard gets out of the bed easy. He does everything he wants, walks and uses the yoga ball. The nurse comes in says "the doctor is here." She will be in soon.

From where Daisy was crouched beside the yoga ball, pushing Richards pressure points, she saw the doctor finally come in. “Baby, the doctor is here, do you want to get up?”, she murmured into his ear.

"Yes." He says. Daisy helps him back on the bed. The nurse checks for dilation once again, as she does the Dr walks in.The nurse says " You are at 10cm!!!"

Daisy smiles in relief for Richard, “you can finally push”, she cheered.

The nurse holds one leg and Daisy holds the other. The Doctor is massaging that area and she says "next contraction you may push, the nurse will count to ten. " "Okay, I'm ready." Richard says. He puts his chin to his chest and lifts up "ooooohhhhh"

Daisy winced at the noise Richard made, it was loud and full of pain. She stroked the leg she was holding up and smiled sympathetically down at him.

Richard pauses after the count of ten. Another contraction he pushes "ohhhhhhh uggghhhhh mmmmm"

At this point, Daisy begins to wonder how long he will be in pain for, will it last an hour or even more? She took a peep at his nether regions and grimaced at the sight. His hole was starting to stretch and was bright red.

Richard pauses again after the count of ten. Signals for some ice chips as he is parched. "I need you to give me a big push." The doctor says. Richard pushes "ohhhhh ggggg mmmmmmmmm!!!" He screams. "The baby is crowning very good!!" The doctor says. Richard looks at the nurse, then at Daisy.

Daisy leans over and grabs some ice chips, putting them in Richards mouth for him to chew. “Are you alright, baby?”, she asked, seeing him look at her.
