"Well either they saw me coming a mile off or.. there were no trespassers today" he said softly and looked to jelani "alpha... why did you pick me to join you? Im still recovering and wounded... all id be good for is a decoy target for them to tear apart while you do the same to them..."

It was sometime later that they returned to camp under the cover of darkness, none of the others any of the wiser as to what had occurred.

The white lion chuckles softly "if only everyone shared your view" he said and stopped by his tent, unsure if jelani want s d him to sleep with him or just go back to sleeping on his own.

"Up to you" Jelani nods at Rylan before making his way to his own tent

He looks to his tent thinking before following and joining his alpha, crawling into bed with him he lets the larger male pull him close to embrace while the sleep.

"Goodnight Rylan" Jelani is gone the next morning before Rylan awakens. The air was cool as Jelani drug a large zebra back to the camp before he works on skinning and cleaning it up.

Rylan awoke before the others did but after he returned with his catch "you know, you could ask the others to help you with the hunts... you dont needvto do them alone" he says walking over and assists him with skinning it, almost seeming like an expert how he manages tget the whole skin off withvwrry little wffort or damage to the pelt.

He nods and continues to cut up the meat, again seeming like an expert at it as he worked.

"Its been a while... im glad i can still do that" Rylan admits with a smile "if we keep the bones we can make a soup out of them" he offers "waste not" he shrugs

He purrs and smiles getting out the large soup pot and gets to work "im guessing your curious why im decent at this but nothing else hu?" He asked looking up to jelani.
