Tecciztechatl growled at him. "Actually brother, that mark on my lover. When he became my mate. He also became immortal. Even if he wasn't I would still love him. I would never forget about him. Because I would die as well without him. Times have changed brother. You are so weak and hurt because you don't have any mortals throwing themselves at you. Is that the reason you had to kidnap another god's mate to give you a son?. Tecciztechatl smirked at him. What's wrong did I hit a nerve?"

"I am the morning star!" Quetzalcoatl snarled, the feathers on the side of his head ruffling. "I am the sun! How could they possibly forget about me?! I am with wind! I moved their ships and brought them the clouds that rained on their crops! I bring the light that warms this miserable world every single morning! And what do you do?! They all sleep when you're around! They don't even see the light you bring to an otherwise few dark hours! I deserve the attention! I deserve a son! I deserve everything!"

"You are also a pain in the ass and selfish. That was reason they forgot about you. Times started to change. The other gods found humans who loved him for themselves. Not because of their powers. You were great at one time and loved by everyone. I also rise and lowered their tides. I laid the stars out at night and took them down. I provided light of the moon for them on the most fearful of nights. You dear brother won't get attention if you keep up your selfishness. Other than doing your duties as a god why should you be worthly of anyone attention?. Who would want to waste time worshiping a spoiled brat!"

"Shut up! Shut up!" Quetzalcoatl stomped his foot and pointed a finger at his brother. "What you have to say is irrelevant! What's done is done! My mark will keep my child safe from any of your magic. If you try to remove my mark, your precious mate will suffer for it. Be ready for me in 11 days, dear brother, when I come to collect what is mine." With that, Quetzalcoatl turned and ran, transforming into his serpant form as he took off into the sky.

Tecciztechatl snarled at his brother and went to chase him but stopped himself. As he turned his attention to Jacob. He smiled gently at Jacob and picked him up. "It's alright my love. You are safe now. I got you, come on now let's go home". Tecciztechatl transported them home.

Jacob didn't want Tecciztechatl leaving his side for one single second once they'd returned home. The whole experience had been terrifying, to say the least. Even so, Jacob still agreed to stay with Tecciztechatl, despite the danger he could be in as long as the wind serpent was still around.

In only a few short days their triplets would be born, but Jacob hardly had the ability to relax. Each morning at dawn, as the sun broke over the horizon and flooded the sky with white-gold light, Jacob's belly grew with Quetzalcoatl's son. Usually the boy was awake all night with his nocturnal lover. Then, as the moon began to set, he'd settle in for bed. But now, he only got a few precious hours of sleep before his belly jumped, swelling up with the new serpent. Jacob was exhausted this morning, lying in bed and looking up at a belly that was big enough for quintuplets. He was supposed to give birth tonight to the moon children, but he wondered if he would have the strength.

Tecciztechatl noticed his lover's distress and worry as he looked at his stomach. "Please don't worry my love. I will not allow him or anyone else to ever to take you away from me again. I promise. I am sorry I wasn't there to prevent him from harming you like that. So tonight when he comes. I intend to kill him. It's our laws that stealing another one's mate is punishable by death. How about a belly massage to help relax you for tonight?".

Jacob shook his head. "He won't come tonight. He said 11 days, remember? I know our children will be born tonight, but he doesn't have an interest in them anymore." Jacob couldn't pass up an offer for a belly massage, though. He pushed the sheets down, revealing his hugely swollen orb. One of the babes kicked which forced a bump to rise against taut flesh. "They're eager to come out," the boy mumured as he shifted, trying to get comfortable.

Tecciztechatl smiled at him gently and kissed his forehead. He laid a few pillows behind his back to help support his back. Next he grabbed a bottle of oil and poured it on his lover's belly and started to gently knead it. "Hey now settle down in there. You will be out soon enough." He kissed Jacob's fleshy orb and started to sing to it as gently stroked it and poured warm oil on it.

Another kick was the only response given to Tecciztechatl's scolding. A bump rose and fell on Jacob's left side, and then again near the peak of his belly. One of the babes rolled over, pushing heavily against Jacob's underbelly. The boy hummed and smiled. Warm oil always did wonders to relieve the strain and the itch to his stretched skin. Violet eyes looked at his active belly before looking up at his mate. "Terri... Will you want more kinds? Y'know, in a few years or something?"

"Yes, my love. But only if you wish to do so. I only want you to be happy and to do it because of your own free will. I don't want you to ever think I only love you because of your looks or the fact you can bear me children. I love you because of your kindness, your gentleness, strength and warmth." Tecciztechatl smiled at him and kissed him gently as he massaged the spots where their children kicked him. "Why did you ask my love?"

Jacob shrugged a little. "I dunno... I just... I remember you telling your brother that the mark you gave me makes me immortal. I guess I just thought that, like... forever would be a long time to go only having kids once. We could let these ones grow up first, I guess, or we could have more in a year or two." He blushed. "Being pregnant hasn't been entirely a bad experience. I... really like the way you look at me."

Tecciztechatl smiled and kissed Jacob. "I am glad my beautiful one." He continued to massage his belly gently and kneaded it. "Now just relax and enjoy the pleasure I am giving you. Once my brother's son is born the mark he placed on you will be removed. I have a plan with what to do to him."

"I... I don't think you should be so hard on your brother," Jacob said, though his voice was quiet and not terribly authoritative. "To me it sounds like he was pretty special back in the day. I mean, I know you all were, but... Being the sun is a big deal. Do you really think he should be punished when really... your brother is just really lonely and broken-hearted?"

Tecciztechatl nodded and smiled at him. "You are very kind my love. That is one of the reasons I love you is for your big heart. Alright my love, tell you what. I will not punish him. Instead, do you have any single friends?. I believe it would be better to have him stay here. I could sense his pain and sadness when he ran away from us. I swear he was crying. I am going to summon him here. He deserves to be near his unborn son. I will not allow him to harm you or our children. If he does then he will die. Does that sound fair?"

Jacob chuckled. "I don't know how willing he will be to live here with us. I'm sure his pride will get in the way of that, but to extend the invitation won't hurt. As for any single friends of mine? You'll have to let me think about that for a few minutes. Will you go get me some danishes and some blueberries, Terri? I'm super hungry all of the sudden."

Tecciztechatl chuckled and kissed him and stroked his stomach. "Yes, my love. I will be right back." Tecciztechatl transported himself down to their kitchen. He grabbed a large plate of assorted danishes and bowl of blueberries. He transported himself back to his mate. "I am back my love. Did you miss me?"

"You were only gone a few seconds!" Jacob teased, but still smiled. He struggled to sit himself up in the bed, glad to have the pillows behind his back for support. His very pregnant belly was heavy in his lap, pushing his legs apart. Jacob let out a long breath, rubbing his belly a bit tiredly. "Never thought I'd be pregnant with two different types of gods..."

Tecciztechatl chuckled and kissed him. As he help him get propped up better on against the pillows. He stroked his lover's stomach and handed him the food. "Here you are my love. Were you able to think of anyone yet?"

Jacob took the tray of food and was able to easily balance it on the shelf of his large belly. "My friend Bobby was always complaining that he could never find a good enough guy in the city." He picked up a danish and bit into it, sighing at the sugary goodness melting in his mouth.
