Tecciztechatl chuckled and massaged Jacob's belly. "Alright, how about after our children are born. Could you get in contact with him?." Tecciztechatl paused as his ears twitched. "Wait here my love. It seems my brother is near by." Tecciztechatl kissed him and transported himself outside to face his brother. "Brother what are you doing here?. Your son isn't due to born yet".

Quetzalcoatl didn't even so much as blink when Tecciztechatl appeared. His was expecting his older brother to show up. Quetzalcoatl was still in his giant serpent form, feeling more confident in case the rabbit tried to attack. "Maybe not, but that's no reason for me not to check up on him. You could have been trying to remove my mark this whole time for all I know. You're so protective of that boy, I wouldn't put it past you to try, despite my warnings." Pale blue eyes narrowed as his claws scraped nervously at the dirt. "I want to see him."

Tecciztechatl stared at him and nodded. "Alright, brother. It's time put this this stupid rivality behind us. We have been caring for him like he was our own along our own children. You may see him. But only if you are willing to meet my conditions. One you are not to attempt to harm or kidnap my mate or children. Two, You will call him by his name Jacob not human. Three, you are not to threaten him or me. Four, you are going to tell my mate sorry about the past way you have treated him. Five, you have to move in with us. I know you are lonely. Please brother it's time to let go of the past. My mate has a friend who is looking for someone. He's sounds like he would be perfect for you". Tecciztechatl smiled at him. "Please turn into your human form so you can enter our home. Your son needs to be with his father."

Quetzalcoatl grumbled deep from the back of his throat, eyes glancing away as he scraped a bit harder at the dirt. "I don't want my own human," he mumbled. "Once my son is born, that will be all the company I need. Nor do I need your pity. My temple back in the homeland is plenty good." But Quetzalcoatl conceded to the other demands. He would apologize, though he wouldn't mean a word of it. Nodding, he transformed into his human shape and followed Tecciztechatl inside.

Jacob was still sitting in the bed, happily popping blueberries into his mouth. "You know I would LOVE a tall glass of milk to go with this other dan--" Violet eyes widened when he saw the wind god follow in after the moon god. "What is HE doing here?! I thought you went out there to send him away!"

Tecciztechatl calmed his lover down by stroking his belly and kissing his brow. "It's alright my love. He is going to move in with us until his son is born and goes on a date with your friend Bobby. He wanted to see his son. Please my love I would never allow him to harm you. Please he has something he wants to tell you. Don't you brother?"

"I said I didn't want to move into your human house," Quetzalcoatl growled, "and I'm not dating this Bobby mortal." A stern glare from Tecciztechatl got him to shut his mouth, though he did still sort of grumble under his breath. Then Tecciztechatl started to prompt him for the apology. The serpent sighed, sounding like a long hiss, and rolled his pale eyes. "I'm sorry, boy-- I mean, Jacob. I'm sorry, Jacob, for kidnapping you before and... doing what I did."

Jacob scowled and scoffed. "Yeah, sure, that sounded so totally sincere, Pretzel Coat."

"Quetzalcoatl!" the wind god bellowed. "I'll not be mocked by the likes of you!"

Tecciztechatl growled at Quetazlcoatl. "That's enough out you. Now tell him you are sorry like you mean it and your are going to meet my set conditions. Or else you you won't be allow to see your son until he is born!"

"I don't understand your human house, brother!" Quetzalcoatl argued. "Why did you choose to live like them in the first place? Why did you abandon your temple? It still stands, just as well as mine."

Jacob's eyebrows pinned together. "Are you joking? That place was overgrown with vines and falling apart."

Quetzalcoatl hissed. "But it is my home. A mortal like you does not understand. Our followers used to flock to our temples, leaving gifts of flowers and fruit. They made living sacrifices to us on flaming altars. They painted their bodies in our image, praying and fasting for days, and then celebrating with festivals. How my dear brother could leave that all behind him so easily, I will never understand. It is why I cannot do all the things he is asking of me." Quetzalcoatl sighed heavily. "If I must apologize, then I apologize to you, boy. However, I cannot let go of my precious memories so easily."
Reply

Tecciztechatl sighed and nodded at him. "That's better. Times have changed brother. It's time to move on. You don't have to let go your memories. But wouldn't you be happier having a least one mortal loving and worshiping you as they have the honor of carrying your children. Just give it a chance. Now please come over here and greet your son. I can feel him wiggling around. He is curious about you." Tecciztechatl got up off the bed and gently grasped Quetzalcoatl's hand to move it touch Jacob's belly. "Can you feel him?"

Jacob blushed furiously and looked away. His fingers curled tightly into the sheets, but he wouldn't say a word. This was what his lover wanted, so the boy wasn't going to argue. Jacob could feel the small serpent wriggling in his belly, coiling and slithering closer to its father's touch. It made him bite his lip.

Quetzalcoatl looked surprised at first, not expecting Tecciztechatl to be so forward, but he took to the touch eagerly. Already his son was growing big and strong. Normally, the cycle of the sun lasted for 11 years, but Quetzalcoatl was an impatient god. His brother was lucky. A moon cycle only lasted a month. Not one to be bested in anything, the sun god took it upon himself to speed up the time it would take his child to mature. 11 years became 11 days by his simple will alone. "My son thrives in your human. That is good."

Tecciztechatl growled annoyed and slapped Quetzalcoatl upside his head. "You are to only address him as Jacob. Not human, mortal or carrier. He is my chosen mate. As long as he is carrying your son. You are to only call him Jacob. Understand?"
Reply

"Ow!!" Quetzalcoatl immediately rubbed the back of his head, hissing against the dull throb. "Fine! Fine, Jacob. Fine."

Jacob set the tray of half-eaten food on the nightstand and pulled the covers up over himself. "I'm tired," he mumured and rolled over, putting his back to the pair of gods.

Tecciztechatl smiled at his lover and kissed him as he stroked his belly. "Sleep well my beautiful mate. I will be by soon to join you". He picked up the tray of food and carried it out to the hallway. He turned to Quetzalcoatl. "Follow me, I am going to lead you to a guest room. Where you are going to be staying until your son is born." He lead him down the hall to a large room decorated with warm colors that were associated with the sun.

Quetzalcoatl followed behind his brother. He glanced at the carpet and the various objects hanging from the walls. Admittedly, the house was quite large, hinting that Tecciztechatl had made himself a vast fortune. Not that such a thing was hard for a god to do. With a simple snap of his fingers, Quetzalcoatl could be rolling in gold and diamonds. He looked around the new room, noting all the red, gold and white hues. "I'm getting the feeling you have anticipated this day..."

Tecciztechatl smiled knowing at him. "Yes, I have. I have known you have been lonely for centuries now. I was scared you had faded away sad and lonely like some of the others. Since that day at your temple when you were running away from us. I could sense your sadness and loneliness. I smelled your tears. Now please it's time we started becoming friends. Please just give my mate's friend Bobby a chance. Who knows you may actually fall in love with him. After my children are born, we are going to have him over for the night. So you can meet him".
Reply

Quetzalcoatl sighed and turned to look at his brother. "Tecciztechatl, I know you mean well, but you can't expect me to change overnight. Besides... I don't want a mate. I want followers. And this room is very nice. I do appreciate you trying to look out for me, brother, but I haven't even decided to stay. My son will be born in eight days time. Truthfully, I will probably just take him back to the temple with me. I'll have all I need once I have him."
Reply

Tecciztechatl sighed back. "I know that brother. But at least fix up your temple. It's not safe for your child. You will have worshipers soon again after tonight. You are going to be an uncle. Didn't you feel all of the children aiming for your hand along with your son?. They know who their uncle is. They already love you. Just please give it time. At least meet Bobby please?. Just stay with us until your son is born and you at least spend one day with Bobby after that you are free to do what ever you want. Now please excuse me. My mate is waiting for me". He turned around and left the room quietly to join his lover in their chambers.

Jacob slept all through the rest of the day and late into the night. His body was obviously gathering all the strenght and energy he was going to need for giving birth. The lunar cycle had come full circle. The night sky was pitch black. Jacob's belly resembled the moon that was absent tonight; his large, pale, round orb of a belly. He was counting the moments. He knew, as with every other night this month, it would all begin at midnight.

Tecciztechatl had done all he could to make sure his young mate would be as comfortable as possible. Quetzalcoatl was not present, choosing to stay in his room. He knew Jacob wouldn't want him there anyway. "Terri... Terri, what if I c-can't do this?" Jacob asked, trembling slightly in the bed.
Reply

Tecciztechatl kissed his lover's forehead. "Shh..yes you will be able to. I know you can. I am here and I am not leaving your side for anything. Now how about a belly massage to help relax you for the birth?. Your water hasn't broken yet. So we still have time". He kissed Jacob and started to massage his belly and kissed it gently. He started to softly sing a children's song for Jacob to help relax him.

Usually the massages were just the trick Jacob needed to calm down and relax, but he was just too anxious tonight. The children were active in his belly, squirming excitedly just beneath the taut skin. Not much time went by before a dull throb started to form at the base of Jacob's spine. He whimpered softly and tried to get more comfortable, but the dull throb turned into a strong ache and crawled through his womb into his pelvis. "Mmmhn..." The small waves of pain moved through him again and again and again, getting stronger each time. At once, the pain spiked and the sheets were suddenly soaked through beneath the boy. "A-Aah!"
