Nova awoke it was late at night and he needed to pee the three children in his middle making it near imposoible to sleep. He closed the bathroom door behing him. Just as he was exiting a sharp pain shot up his spine. Hed been getting them all but this one was bad. He managed to make it too oru and shook him to get him to wake. "ORU!"

Oru jumped awake and looked up at his mate "N..Nova? whats wrong love?" he asks reaching out to gently hold his mate, his own belly had swollen over the last few weeks and he was due for a checkup soon to find out how many. "is it your back again? i told you we should have seen the doc"

Griped orus arm tightly gritting his teeth his pain inceasing. I a few moments nova was breathing in and out deeply tail curled in on its self.

"Just breath love, in and out, just focus on that ok?" he says and gently lifts him "Ill do all the swimming" he tells him and starts down the hall to the doctors office, on account of his species he was able to move alot faster than if it was Nova on his own.
"Doc, we need help please!" he called as the entered the room.

The doc turned around 0eyes imedatley on nova. He swam over placing a palm on his abdomen. Feeling the tightening of the mucles he turned to oru. "Its time." He quickly gathered up supplies and plaved them on the table beside the bed. "We can only wait now do you know if his water had broken yet?"

The orca looked at him with a 'your kidding right?' look "How am i supposed to know?" he asks "Were surrounded by water! only way i knew if my own broke in the past was an increase in pain and my stomach shrinking a little around the eggs i carried"

"Seahorse fluids are pink or purple in clor so its a bit easyer to tell." He said. Nova moaned as anotjer contracation wracked his body. Just as he was about to scream threte a pop and a cloud of pinkish fluids erupted from his slit. The pain contraction incteased in pain ten fold causing the smaller to wrap his tail around orus arm in a death grip. One hand on his abdpmen the other griping orus shoulder.

"Gah... i..i think that's what you've been waiting for" he says and pets his mates tail, he cringed a bit from the discomfort but wouldn't tell his mate to let go even as he laid his down on a bed "Do you have any of those pain killers you gave me?" he asks "You know the ones i used to take my first few times"

Nova heard the word painkiller and shook his head no. "I dont want them i just want you to stay by me." Novas contractions were painful but he remained up right being on his back was somthing he had voiced was highlyu confortable. "Aaaaaaaa!" Me moaned lowly belly tighening and squeezing. He wanted to push but waited. As the doctor preped to check him.

"Ok just a little disconfort tben ittl be done" he checked and smiled. 9cm almost there.

Oru stayed with him, rubbing gently at the tail arround his wrist. As if he could go anywhere even if he wanted to right now "just relax hun, breath, like i showed you, just relax" he coos softly "not long now and youll have your boys in your arms"

After about an hour it was time to push. Nova kept as calm as possible. "Naaaaagh!" He pushed pressing his chin his his chest the first child crowning. The doc had a hand under the childs head he was atting novas tail gently. "Come on youv got this." Tbe next cobtraction came seconds later making nova grunt harshly as the childez shoulders slid free followedd by black silver and whit scaled seahorse tail a sharp shrill wail. He breathed relaxing some. The doctor lookes up. "Shes pretty cute." Nova it to tired to even reach for her thd contraction painful. But managable as they were he was so exhusted. The doctor saw the wiped out look on novas face and said. "Rest youv got some time before the next one drops lfor now sleep as your little girl has already done.

Oru smiled looking at the small baby mer and reached out to hold her "god... we make adorable kids love" he says smiling and kissed Novas cheek "rest, you did so well... the last ones will be a breeze"

Nova closed his eyes dozing off curling into his mates side.

"How long till the next ones ready? Any idea?" He asks "im used to just... being in labor till they are all out..."

"Seahorses are uniqe in that they can have labors for days. Each child has its own aniotic sac thats why they carry so short but look so pardon the phrase plump. Youll know becuse the pink will show." He smiled. For sevral hours novas slept till a harsh contraction woke him causing him to come up out of sleep gasping. "Haaaagh!"

"That she blows" oru said with a light chuckle seeing the pinkish fluid escape once more, he nuzzled his mates neck gently and gave a soft kiss just next to his gills "just like last time love, nice and calm, you probably couldnt have a better experienced mate for this"

Nova gleared at the stament but ignored it. He presee his chin to his chest "ahhhhhhbgh!" He felt the next contraction build and pour. down he pushed he felt the child's head push against to cervix painfully he stopped momentarily to take a breath. He then squeeze his eyes shut and proceeded to push again this time the feeling of the child's head now pushed against the slit and felt like it was going to split him wide open. he pushed down on the next contraction with everything he had the child's head popping free. he had to take minute to relax and breathe at this point he was getting low on energy and they're still one child left and he hadn't even delivered second.

"Calm hun, steady... Doc hes getting tired... you got one of those mirical shots?" He asks looking over his shoulder towards the doctor who was mid checkup on their firstborn.
