Beau closed his eyes and held his belly, trying to breathe through the contractions. Cole curled up behind him, rubbing Beau's belly and whispering encouragement in his ear.

Beau's eyes flew open and he let out a guttural groan. "I have to push!"

"Alright love give me a second to see if you are dilated enough to push." Cole said as he got out from behind Beau and back in between his legs. "Alright babe, next contraction  give me a big push ok?"

Beau grabbed his leg, pulling it up as he bore down on the next contraction. All it did was make the pressure worse but he couldn't stop. He kept pushing until the contraction stopped and he let his leg go, shifting uncomfortably.

"Don't like that position," Beau gasped, trying to move. "Hands and knees. Help."

Cole nodded and helped Beau up on his hands and knees "the book says to lean forward on your forearms while you push for more stability" Cole said trying to be helpful

Beau shook his head at that, groaning as the position changed the pressure in his pelvis. He spread his knees, his belly resting on the mattress as he started to push again, hoping the angle would help. He panted for a moment before taking a deep breath and pushing, letting out a low, guttural shout the whole time.

"Good babe! Keep pushing just like that and the first baby will be out in no time!" Cole said excited that Beau was now pushing and their babies were coming soon.

Beau panted, feeling sweat dripping down his back and belly. He circled his hips as he waited for the next contraction, the pressure making it hard for him to stay still. When the next contraction started, he took another deep breath, the same low shout filling the air as he pushed. He could feel the baby moving, sliding forward during the push. The pressure on his hole increased and he was starting to feel the burning that meant the baby was crowning.

"I can see the head love!" Cole announced  with tears in his eyes. "Our baby is coming!" He was so proud of how amazing Beau was doing and completely  in awe of how well he was handling it.

Beau gritted his teeth and pushed as hard as he could, the burning becoming almost unbearable. "It huuuuuurts! Oh fuck. Cole!"

"You have to push through the pain babe. I know it hurts but the head is coming. PUSH!!!"

Beau bore down, screaming as he felt the head push all the way out. The pain immediately decreased but the pressure was worse. He panted and turned his head to look at Cole. "Is it okay?"

"It's fine. The head is out. You're doing so good babe. Just wait for the baby to turn and then you can push again."

Beau shifted his legs a little, waiting as he felt the baby move inside of him. It felt horrible, weird and uncomfortable and he was glad when Cole gave him the okay to push. He pushed hard, feeling the shoulders push against his hole. They weren't going to fit, he knew they weren't until all of a sudden they did and the baby came out in a rush of fluids.

"Oh!"

Cole caught the baby in his arms as it slid out of Beau. "I-It's a boy babe. It's a boy!" Cole announced as the baby cries and he wraps him in a towel to warm him up

Beau turned awkwardly, trying to not get tangled in the umbilical cord attaching their son to him. Cole handed him over and Beau stared at him. He was so small, with a head full of curls. He was red and screaming and Beau had never seen anything so amazing.

"Look at him," Beau said, sniffling as he looked up at Cole was doing no better. "He's perfect."

"He is perfect" Cole smiled back as he goes to cut the cord "do you want to get in another position for the next one?" He asks trying to figure out how to do the next two births with one already done.

Beau scrunched up his face, surprised to realize that he didn't have to push. "I don't think I'm ready," he admitted. "I'm really sore but I don't need to push."

He shifted their first son up to his chest, trying to see if he could get him to latch. Breastfeeding could help the contractions start up again and would help the baby calm down.

"I just meant that you would probably be uncomfortable on your hands and knees while holding the baby."

"Oh," Beau said laughing a little. Their son was eating, the feeling strange but comforting at the same time. It felt so natural. "I don't think it'll be able to push and hold him. Maybe he'll sleep after he's done eating."

"Probably not. Hopefully he will finish eating before the next one comes. So what do you want to name him?"
