Beau stroked a finger over his soft cheek. "This is Julian. He's definitely not a Marc."

"Julian sounds perfect." Cole smiled. He reached over and lightly touched the baby's face.

"I'm so thirsty," Beau said after a few minutes in silence where they had just stared at Julian eating. "And hungry. Am I allowed to eat something?"

Cole handed Beau the canteen and let him drink. "Well i mean if you're hungry you should eat right?" He said not really knowing what the right answer was

"I'm starving," Beau said looking down as Julian shifted and turned his face away. Beau carefully lifted him and patted his back until he burped. "Do we have anything that would work for a makeshift cradle?"

"Not really i mean the only cradle like thing we have is the cooler. We can just lay him next to you maybe?"

Beau looked a little skeptical. "I don't know how stable it will be when I'm pushing." At that, he felt a contraction start, light and quick, almost just a cramp. "They're starting again. Hand me a protein bar and see if you can settle him in using our clothes to block him."

Cole handed Beau a power bar then took Julian and made a makeshift bed for him using their clothes as a barrier
