"Still, it's better if they don't find out," he says quietly. He knows better than to think there's anything duly serious between them, considering the circumstances, but he isn't cruel and-- potentially carrying his children or not-- doesn't want to see harm come to Teyuki. "Which were those?" he asked, still speaking very softly as he tilted his head to the side. "Happy or sad?"

His eyes went to looking at a wall with a glare that was meant for him still while he laid in place and caught his breath. "T-The glowing...It means I am at my most fertile...And usually means the it was sucessful, especially when my heat starts to vanish...If not, I would still be feeling it and my kind would be in a room for days until it was sucessful..." "I think we have someone for Rylan now to breed with. What a beautiful specimen." Kathryn walked down the halls while she gazed at the Naga in the cage being wheeled down to his new room and she began to walk to Rylan's room. "Oh Rylan. We found someone for you. His name is Xalden. He's new. And here is some information on him before we bring you down there." She held a key in her hands and unlocked his chains and shackles as she wasn't afraid of him at all trying anything.

"This place is rather strange..." The Naga looked around the room he was brought to after being captured in the forest he grew up and protected before. The plain white walls were all he could see from the cage he was in and he slithered around as much as he was able to. The silver haired creature was rather large, and if provoked to attack, he would be deadly. For the moment he was being compliant and just watched the door.

Still, if the jewels were truly that rare, he worried what the humans might do. His hand absently runs over his flat belly, wondering if the increasing cold there meant he was in the process of conceiving. "How did you come to be here?" he asks curiously.

Slowly he slithered out of the small cage and out towards Rylan and then circles him as he studies the Lion, looking him all over.

Loric considered that information, with a lazy little growl. It seemed to show his contentment. "That is ideal. Your kind is good, in that way." He had never met a fallen before, but having a demand to breed and a signifier beyond scent that indicated fertility pleased Loric's own instincts. Still, that did not convince him that he should leave until it was quite certain he'd had the intended effect-- nor could he come and go in this place as he chose, but he believed there were ways to get what he wanted here. He would not be so cooperative otherwise.

"Some way to repay kindness," Esten sighed. "They bought me from someone else. I was captured by a hunter some time ago. I don't know how long. Months, I think. He clipped my wings." They were only just starting to grow back as much as he needed to fly. "I was a gift to his wife and I did things around the house for them. I suppose they were offered a lot of money or she got tired of me." He shrugged lightly. "I ended up here."

Loric arched an eyebrow. "As you should be, considering my needs determine how well you are treated." It was a practical and simple truth, especially among his kind. He would not soften reality for the carrier's sake. It was what it was. They each had roles to play.

"I suppose. As much as any of us are," Estan shrugs, not quite sure what constitutes safe in this scenario. They were in the same boat, however, whatever boat that was. He inclines his head. "If it wasn't okay, I would have at least put up more of a fight. I'm alright with it. And the temperature you get used to. Having feathers helps." His wings were pinned to his back, which helped him retain a bit of his body heat and keep the cold air off.

"Xalden..." He hissed out in a non threatening tone and inched over, his long tail wrapping around his frame, but not in a strangling way. "Rylan...Why are you here? And what is this place?"

"So, what would of happened if I couldn't produce you offspring? Would you kill me then? Because I didn't fill your needs?" He frowned from the cot and his wings wrapped around himself while he laid back and there was a faint hint of exhaustion in his eyes, but he wasn't sure if he trusted the creature or not if he slept, even with offspring in his belly.
