There is a cave, hidden deep in the forests, that is said by many of the locals to be haunted. Anyone who ventures into them -- cave crawlers, curious campers, teenagers on a dare -- is simply swallowed up, never to be seen again. Nobody knows the reason for this, except for those who do disappear... and, of course, they never return to tell the tale, such is their fate upon entering the cave.
Within the cave is a deep pothole, leading to a much vaster network of subterranean caves and tunnels. These caves and tunnels are home to a strange species called "arachne"; bizarre hybrids of human girl and giant spider. With the torsos of beautiful young girls sticking centaur-like out of huge spider bodies, the arachne's appearance belies their grim nature and even grimmer methods of reproduction. They rely on hosts to hold their eggs -- more specifically, human hosts.
The walls and floors of the caves underneath are covered in thick web, where dozens of cocoons line the walls, their occupants completely encased from head to toe. There's no movement from them, other than a muffled moan and an occasional twitch. Their bellies are filled to bursting with arachne eggs, which they will incubate for up to three months, after which they will simply split open and release their young. Their remains are cleared away, and the arachne prepare to receive fresh victims.
(Need people to play both humans and arachne. Try and be descriptive in your posts. PM me if you have any questions.)

"Mmph... mrrph..." came from the fresh cocoon, as Kate put the finishing touches on it. Chuckling, she reached out with a human hand and caressed the silky sides of it.
"No need to struggle," she said cheerfully. "It'll just wear you out. Thanks for being my host, by the way -- my egg sac was getting quite full."
