"This?" Vaelindra sighed as her amber eyes tracked the breadth of her chambers, her gaze moving from one wall to the other across the luxuriant fabric that swathed her bed. She crossed her arms across her chest as she sat down on the couch on the far wall of her room and stared at Mahanon for a moment, hesitant to speak. "I don't know. It was a fate I expected, given away to some house to birth their heirs and strengthen House Aetris' ties... I just didn't imagine it would happen above ground. I'm excited, the prince seems a good man but I think I'm entitled to be nervous" Vaelindra smiled as she patted on the couch next to her, inviting her friend to share her company as a small grin split her lips. "But life in a harem might grow on me yet. What say you, Mahanon?"

When Charlie was 13 years old, their father died, and he began to work to buy food for himself and his brother. He started working at the palace, like his mother did. Eventually, as the years passed, he got a few promotions. Two years ago, he engaged in a relationship with Tom, one of the kindests guards of the palace, who had always treated him well. It would be his first time having actual contact with a member of the royal family. What if the prince didn't like him? He rubbed his belly unconsciously, in an attempt to calm himself down. His new uniform, a brown dress-looking piece with an apron, made his belly quite evident. He searched for the prince or Cairi, he had heard great things about her and hope she could give him some advice.

"Yeah I think he is a very good guy and good lover. Especially to such a good friend and good looking person as you are. I hope he will be able to pleasure me to. I mean in a certain way that is why we are here. And bearing children for him." Mahanon looked around in the room. His room was a bit different in color but over all it was kind of the same.
He looked into the room like daydreaming.

Mahanon looked back to Vaelindra. "I have found a Dragonborn out in a cave. I spotted him at the crowd in front of the palace and followed him to his home. Now the guards are searching for him. I thought it would be better if he is not there illegally anymore. But now I don't really know if that was a good idea... "

Vaelindra felt a heat flash in her cheeks as Mahanon spoke highly of her in the same breath that he spoke praises of the prince, nodding in agreement as she watched her friend's eyes sweep the room and get lost in thought. She could breathe easy now that she knew someone else understood her and what she was going through here and she could do likewise for them. Vaelindra had taken a breath, ready to speak and break the spell her chambers held over Mahanon when he mentioned the Dragonborn he had encountered and reported to the guards before expressing doubt that he had done the right thing in exposing where he hid. "Did he say what cause he had to hide, Mahanon? Perhaps the guards searching for him might be the best."

"No he did not tell me anything. I never even saw this one properly. Just his eyes and I heard his voice. Yeah maybe it was the right choice to do so." Mahanon agreed with Vaelindra.
