Nathan nodded. With a big smile, he felt relieved.
"That's good to hear..." he whispered with a small smile, "It's good that it's nothing serious."

The nurse nodded and smiled, “I’m glad I could ease your fears”, he stood up and helped Nathan from the bed, “if you have any more questions you’re always welcome here”.

"Thank you very much," he replied and put on a sweater covering his body. He stroked his stomach slightly. "And can you give me something for the pain?" he asked "I feel uncomfortable in class because of these pains."

“All I can give you are the normal pain relief medications but drinking water and moving around frequently should also help”, he said, opening a drawer and pulling out some paracetamol.

"Thank you very much," he replied and sipped the tablet with water. He stroked his back. "I'll be heading back to class.... I'm hungry," he laughed and left the office in a better mood.

The nurse chuckled and held the door open for Nathan to leave.

Meanwhile, Taylor was sat with his mates, talking and laughing about the schools football game that was coming up.

Nathan only texted his lover in class that it was nothing serious. Then he pulled out a sandwich and a bottle of water. He had a moment to himself. He appreciated the solitude all the more after several classes in a row.

Taylor felt his phone buzz and pulled it out, he read the message and replied saying, ‘that’s good’. He then continued to eat his lunch.

His friends were all begging him to play in the upcoming match, he used to play football but decided to stop because he got bored of it. Taylor told them that he would think about it.

Nathan took a short nap in the classroom. He needed to recuperate so he could teach the next two lessons.

After class, he returned the papers to the teachers' room and left the building in good spirits. Today he was to buy children's accessories and was excited. What he didn't expect, however, was that on his way out he would meet his ex boyfriend.

Taylor also had boxing practise that night, he had a little break after the completion so that he could rest and spend some time with Nathan. He pulled out his phone realising he had forgotten to tell him. He clicked on Nathan’s phone number, letting the phone ring.

Nathan didn't like meeting ex-friends, and ex-boyfriends even less. Fortunately, a phone call from Taylor defended him a bit.
"Oh, hey honey," he greeted him in a slightly trembling voice, knowing that his ex was listening.

“Hey babe, I forgot to tell you I have boxing tonight”, he started, “hey, what’s up your voice is all shaky?” It had taken him a moment to realise. “Are you okay? Do you want me to come find you?”

Nathan grunted briefly.
"Remember? I was supposed to go to the store for baby accessories.... I'm not far from the school. Oh, just happen to be nearby?" he asked, wanting to scare the ex a little.

“Yeah, I’m just sat in my car”, Taylor replied, “look, I’m going to come okay?” He stayed in the phone and started the engine to his car, beginning to drive over.

"Okay, I'm waiting here. I'm not going anywhere. I love you too," he said and hung up. He looked a little shyly at his ex-boyfriend. "You're in a hurry too, right?"

Taylor was already parking up by the time Nathan and his ex had started to awkwardly talk. He got out of his car and walked over, sensing the situation. “Hey babe”, Taylor greeted, wrapping an arm around Nathan’s waist, “whose this?”

Nathan felt safer when Tayloe was behind him. He kissed him lightly on the cheek, feeling better.
"Ah, it's Kevin... An acquaintance from college days," he said a little stiffly

Taylor hummed and stuck his hand out for Kevin to shake, “it’s nice to meet you Kevin” he started, “but me and my boyfriend have somewhere to be, so if you’ll excuse us”, he gave a polite nod to the man and led Nathan away from him.

Nathan waited until they walked further away and both got into the car. Only then did he sigh quietly and thank him by kissing him on the cheek.
"Thank you, I didn't want to pester you to drive me, but then I ran into him."

“Don’t worry about it”, Taylor said, “you can always call me and ask for a lift”. He looked over at Nathan, “did you get anything?”
