Dr. Sommer nodded. "Thank you", he said gently and switched on the monitor. "It could be a bit cold", he said and carefully laid the sensor onto Eric's stomach, pressing it gently against it to see a picture.
A picture of Eric's inner belly appeared. The doctor looked concentrated onto the screen and slowly nodded. "Well, this looks good, they have a good position..........do you want to know how much are in there ??", he said and smiled, trying to make him curious.

Dr. Sommer smiled. "I have to admit, that you and your boyfriend, both of you were not far away with your guess concerning the number of eggs.........but there are a bit more..........not 8 or 9, but 13 eggs", the doctor explained and smiled.

Dr. Sommer shook his head, took a tissue and wiped away the contact gel from Eric's belly. "Don't worry, Eric. Everything is going to be alright.......believe me........we are specialized on egg-births and will do our best to make it as comfortable as possible for you", he said and smiled, while putting the sensor back next to the monitor.
"You can pull your T-Shirt back down and sit up again, we are done", he said with a gentle facial expression.

Dr. Sommer and Eric left the examination room, before going through the corridor. On the signs next to the doors, one could read different descriptions of what was behind it: "Laboratory", "WC", "Archive", "Nurses-Room", "Delivery Room 1", etc..
At the end of the corridor, another corridor began, which leaded to the rooms of the pregnant patients.
Dr. Sommer stopped at room 213, opened the door and let Eric enter it first. "Well, here we are.......that's your room", he said with a smile.
