"Tavian, the name suits you well..I'm Andres.", I smiled charmingly at him again because everytime I smiled he would blush profusely and I found it to be so cute.

We spent the whole morning and a good part of afternoon talking about the most mundane things we could think of, trying to get to know each other better.

He put on the bandage on my broken leg and fussed over my other injuries, he was currently cleaning up the wounds on my face and our faces got closer. I could feel his breath on my lips, his eyes flickered down to my lips and back up to my eyes, I slowly closed the gap between us, I was giving him the chance to pull back but he didn't.

The kiss was slow and somehow I knew right then that I had finally found my mate and I knew he knew that too, I could feel in the kiss we shared. I deepened the kiss and got lost in the softness of his plump lips, so lost that I didn't even hear the approaching steps and all the shoutings coming from his pack members.

"TAVIAN!!!", we pulled apart instantly and saw the undoubtedly the alpha of the pack stood towering over us. "Ah, what do we have here? Good job, son!", he smiled proudly at Tavian.

"D-d-dad...", Tavian stuttered and his face went pale as though he just saw a ghost. I looked at him but he wouldn't look back at me, the realization dawned upon me, Tavian was the alpha's son, why didn't he tell me this sooner??? My anger rose up towards him, how dare he leave out this piece of information about him!! Has this all been an act?? Is this some twisted plan to capture me?? I couldn't believe I would fall for this, I knew this was too good to be true.

So much for finding a mate.
