Henry cut into his steak and potato, enjoying the tenderness and taste. He hummed lightly.

[Eskal]

Caleb enjoyed his meal and looked out at the park.

[Areous]

The two finished their meal in silence, finishing up and leaving. Henry showed him a few more parts to the town before hailing him a cab and saying his good night kindly.

A few weeks later found the dark haired male in his shop, wiping down the counters as he thought. The last while had been nice, Caleb and he hanged out often, going out on 'dates' and talking and getting to know each other. The guilty feeling was smaller now and he felt very comfortable with him. Henry smiled to himself, looking around the mostly quiet store. A few people were in the back, with the soft seats and their sweets and drinks, quietly minding their own business.

[Eskal]

Caleb took a deep breath as he practically marched into the shop. His hoodie wasn't as loose as it used to be and he had come to the point where he couldn't keep Henry in the dark any longer. He needed Henry to know if he wanted to move forward with their...relationship. Better to tell him myself then for him to find out some other way, he told himself as he approached the counter. Hhe opened his mouth to speak, but only a wimpy squeak escaped his throat.

[Areous]

Henry looked up from where he was digging under the counter, eyes lighting up at the sight of him. He stood up, mouthing opening as he wiped his hands clean. He paused when Caleb tried to speak but only let out t whimper. Frowning, the male leaned away. "You okay there Caleb? You don't look so good...."

[Eskal]

Caleb took a shaking breath and blinked back small tears. "I...I need to talk to you. Ah... In private..."

[Areous]

He blinked and nodded. He glanced back at his cafe, making sure everybody was good. Satisfied, he led Caleb behind the counter then into the kitchen. It was a good size and clean, smelling of chocolate chip cookies. "Here we go, are you alright?", he put his hands on his shoulders, staring worriedly into his face. He hadn't seen the male like this before.

[Eskal]

"I'm fine. I just...I need to tell you something before we go any farther with....with our relationship." He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled as he looked Henry in the eye. "I...You see...Before Ivan...I mean..." He bit his lip as he blinked back tears. "Henry...I'm...I'm pregnant."

[Areous]

"It's fi-..uh... wait what?", his hands tightened on Caleb's shoulders, staring at him with wide eyes and he couldn't help but to flick his eyes down then back up quickly, "pr-pregant? You mean from before..... oh oh Caleb, I..." He stumbled over his words, offering his a small sad smile.

[Eskal]

"Yeah...Ivan never knew, I just...He passed before I even knew. I thought you should know."

[Areous]

"Oh Caleb, I'm so sorry. It must be hard for you", he rubbed his shoulders, "I'm not going to tell you to leave or anything, i want to help.... will you let me?"

[Eskal]

"Yeah." Caleb croaked as tears rolled down his cheeks. "Thank you."

[Areous]

He reached up to wipe the tears away, hand resting there on his check. He looked into his eyes, biting his own lip lightly. His heart thumped in his chest, butterflies fluttering.

[Eskal]

Caleb blushed and kissed Henry's lips.

[Areous]

Henry flushed and wrapped his arms around him, pulling him closer. He felt the bump and kissed deeper.

[Eskal]

Caleb parted his lips when he needed to catch his breath. His heart pounded and he felt light flutters in his abdomen from his growing child.

[Areous]

He pulled back, panting lightly as he grinned shyly. His hands went down and settled on his lower back. "Woah..", he chuckled, face flushed.

[Eskal]

"Yeah," Caleb chuckled. He blushed. "You...You're a good kisser." He ran his fingers through his hair. "So...Um...Want to come over for a movie or something tonight?"

[Areous]

He blushed, eyes bright. "You too", he chuckled, "Ad yeah sure, that would be nice. I can make dinner too if you want?"

[Eskal]

"Sure," Caleb said. "I'm up for anything really.I could get the groceries for you on my way back home."
