Trian nodded. "'m not very comfortable spending long periods of time with my disguise on, though. I wish I didn't need it at least when we're in this truck."

"The windows are tinted. You can keep it off while we're driving. Just put it on at rest stops and if we get stuck in traffic."

Trian thought about his friend's words for a moment, then nodded. "It must be nice to have an excuse to travel, eh?" Trian said, playfully nudging Jeremy.

[Eskal]

"Yeah."

"Man, this feels kind of surreal. Crash land on an alien planet, and now I'm taking a road trip on it. If someone told me this would happen last week, I would've called the police on them."

[Eskal]

Jeremy chuckled as he backed teh truck out of the driveway and started on the road. "I'd have done the same thing if somebody told me an alien would turn up in my backyard."

"And what about you, doggy? What would you have done, eh? Yeah, that's what I thought." Trian pulled up a map on his device. "So, I think we want to take this road onto the highway."

[Eskal]

Jeremy nodded. "Alright." They drove for a while and got into the highway.

"Have you ever been to Boston before?" Trian asked excitedly.

[Eskal]

"Nope," Jeremy grinned. "I've been to New York once or twice."

"The city or the state? Never mind, I wanna see both." Trian eagerly said.

[Eskal]

Jeremy smiled. "Alright then."

"Okay, so, what should we do when we get there? Are there any hotels that'll let us keep Kiba with us?"

[Eskal]

"Oh there are plenty pet-friendly hotels out there. We could probably go on some tours, try out the food, go to the beach. We'll figure something out."

"Mmmm, beaches." Trian sighed. "Makes me homesick just hearing about them. Local cuisine, though, THAT has my interest."

[Eskal]

"We can try stuff along the way too. Have you heard of cheese curds?"

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Sounds kinda gross, actually. What are those?" Trian asked, an almost childlike look of curiosity on his face.

[Eskal]

"So cheese curds are little bits of cheese that are left over from the process. Up here we have them two ways; plain and coated in batter and deep fried. I like both ways, but I prefer plain since I love it when it squeaks against my teeth."

Trian listened intently. "I'd like to try both ways. Who knows? Maybe I can put them on the menu at my restaurant."

"You have a restaurant?"
