"I hope it is." The alien said. He started eating his food while looking at his omnicaster. "Hey, Jeremy, give me your caster for a second."

Jeremy pulled the caster out of his pocket. "What do you need it for?"

"A little beep bop boop, aaaaand done." Trian handed the device back to Jeremy. "'The interspecies couple's guide to ditherian pregnancies.' I set it to read as an audiobook, but you can change that from your library menu."

[Eskal]

Jeremy nodded. "I'll start listening to that right away."

"I figured you'd need it more than I would." Trian smiled.

[Eskal]

"Very true."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

Once he was done eating, Trian collected the dishes and began washing them.

[Eskal]

"I'll do the dishes," Jeremy said. "You rest your feet."

"You sure?" Trian asked, placing a hand on his back and one on his belly, stretching.

[Eskal]

"Of course. You made dinner after all."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Yeah, but you do everything else. I'm always just laying around."

[Eskal]

"You're pregnant with twins, Trian."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"All of my people are. Your point?" Trian asked, patting his belly.

[Eskal]

"I'm just trying to help," Jeremy said.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"I know. I just don't want to feel like a useless lump."

[Eskal]

"You're not useless."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Well, I definitely feel like it." Trian sighed, and he walked out of the room. The sound of the stairs creaking under the alien's weight could be heard from the kitchen.

Kiba followed Trian up the stairs. JEremy joined them once he finished the dishes.

Trian was rubbing Kiba's belly. "Who's a good boy?! Whooooo's a good booy?!"

Kiba wagged his tail and barked happily.
