he nods and continues to escort him "Well then, In here" he says walking to the room. the two guards by the door look between Narus and Cyprus before opening the door for them. inside was an impressively sized room with a large table. arround it sat Nine High Priest's and priestesses. each one representing one of the ten prime gods with only Narus missing to represent Anubis. Around the edge of the room were various other High level Priests ans ans priestesses for the lessed gods.
"Ah i see we are all assembled, good, we shall get this show on the road... Cyprus would you like me to hold her for you?" he asks gently looking to him

"Please I'm going to need free movment." He said. As he was about to speak. All the presisted started to point finger at Cyprus and narus. They spoke of disloyalty and lust. Cyprus had had enough. His temper was boiling over.

Taking the infant gently. he cradled it lovingly before giving a snarl the the others, loud enough ro silence the others but not enough to wake her. He stayed close, knowing that Cyprus would want them both near. "Speak when you are ready, all are listening and we shall not stray from the room: he tells him with a tail wag and a gentle smile before giving Chione a gentle nuzzle which she seemed to enjoy.

I say nine because the 10th is Narus Anubis priest and he is being awarded. each of you must either relinquish the portion of your God touch soul that will then in turn become the child in my womb. otherwise it will be forcibly ripped from you and Anubis will deal with yourself from there." He said waiting fir retaliation. He knew was sure to be some very angry priests.

"Shall i summon Anubis my dear?" Narus asks calmly while the others are being too loud to hear.

You want proof youv got it with out warning Cyprus threw off his cloak golden symbols appeared on his skin each representing a main god. "I suffer becuse I am the only one who has hope any longer. He raised his hand wich had a blade in it he hid under his tunic he brought it down across his wrist rose gold blood stoped to the table. The wound healed with in minutes. "I am a god appointed demi god!" His tone took on a bit of anger. As he watched. there faces became enraged. Tears streaming down his face. "You have failed your gods have gone silent and yet you still sit here bickering like children. Have you no idea what goes on outside your temples. Wars are being waged villages slaughtered. Little girls and boys being used as plesure toys. Have you no idea the suffering your gods watch becuse you have turned your back on one another on Narus. ANUBIS IS ONLY A CORE GOD IN MY STANDING BECAUSE HE HAS TO CLEAN UP YOUR MESS OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION!" He fell to his knees bawling. "I once thought that you were among people serving the gods now you very own people are losing faith and do nothing to change it."

Narus stepped over and helped him to his feet, wiping his eyes and gave his a smile, a concerned whine, and tail wag. there was a movement and a hushed gasp from the room as another figure stepped over them, covering Cyprus up again "Hush Young pup, dry your eyes," it said voice deep and resounding but comforting "They do not deserve to see your form now." when they both looked up it was into the softly glowibg blue eyes of Anubis himself.
"Narus did not summon me" he says before he even asks the question "I came at the distress of you and my child, we are watchimg, we are always watching" hegave a smile then rose to his rull hight and looked over the room summoning his crook staff with a flash of light "So, Whom shall be accompanying me to the Duat?" he asks morbidly of the group.

"Anubis!?" He said softly. Wraping the cloak around him self. He watched as the whole group paled. On priest tryed to run away a look of fear on his face. Cyprus was shaking from anger and sadness. He felt such emotion his body could hardly contain it. He was shocked by how nasty and horrid they treated each other.

"One" Anubid called and pointed his crook at the Priest trying to flee. he promptly fell down and just, vanished "Any others wish to roam the Duat for a Thousand years before being fed to Amut?" he asked eyeing the group "We gods are not a patient lot when it comes to our gifts and demands being misused and unheeded" he says . Narus stayed with Cyprus, handing him Chione gently and checked his wrists. he so wanted to stand next to Lord Anubis but in his mind realised ghat he was just a vassle, he didnt deserve to stand alongside hi God.

"Im fine Narus realy don't worry. Please don't fuss over me." He said as he looked. Up eyes puffy nose running. His hair had fallen down and hung loudly around him a stray bunch fell into his face.

he gave a light chuckle but nuzzled his face snd licked at his cheek lovingly "I worry and fuss becaude it is my right to worry and fuss, it is my job in life to do so, to care for you" he says and smiles sweetly "I would be derelictin my duty and your lover... if youll have me... to not worry about your wellbeing"

There was a alycote from the temple of child birth who stood. She offered her services as the midwife to Cyprus for as long as she would be welcome.

Narus's ear twitched hearing the offer and knew who it was in an instant and nodded to Cyprus knowing she could be trusted "i know... i just like hwaring you say it" he says with a wink "as long as you dont mind that i still hold hopes of one day being in bed with a certain god". above them Anubis's ear twitched as he awaited the decision of the others but was rapidly losing patience. he knew Narus's desires, but sofar remsined mum on his position on the matter.

The priest each one by one bowed down to anubis. Fearing there life they gave in. Cyprus suddly looked ill as he leaned his head forward then looked back up rose gold blood trickled from his eyes and mouth. "Narus I dont feel well." He said. Hed only had a glass of water while at the conference and it had been given to him by the head priests of twaerets temple. Hed been poisoned by the priests. The child in his arms started to slide as he lost control of his arms.

Eyes going wide he acted quickly and grabbed both, holding the baby as carefully as he could while lowering Cyprus to the floor "C..cypur...Cyprus! Hold on please!" he begged softly. The air itself rumbled and then Anubis was looming over them once more "Calm... Calm both of you" He says "Serquet has given me permission to use some of her powers" he says and pulls out a small vial "the poison is strong... and it will weaken you for many moons, but this shall cure you of it" he offered the vial for Cyprus to drink "It is not your time, and i will not permit you entry into the Duat just yet"

Cyprus couldnt lift his arms he couldn't even feel them. He looked to Narus for help.

"Here" Anubis said simply and poored it into his mouth and had him swallow. feeling quickly started to return but he was in a bit of discomfort "The potoom mearly negates the poison, it cannot repaid the damage it has already done... Narus, that is your job, you know what to do... in the mean time i have work to do" he says and stands turning back to the others.
Narus gently lays the baby on Cyprus's chest then lifts them both "Back to our room, it will be easier there" he mutters.
