He spoted the note and layed back down. The child still asleep he closed his eyes enjoying the quiet.

it was a couple of minutes later tha mt Narus reentered the room. quietly opening and closing the door. he padded over and zmiled looking down at them, reaching out and gently rubbing Cyprus's cheek before he leaned down to give him a gentle kiss to wake him.

Cyprus opened his eyes having not been asleep rather quickly. He smiled into the kiss. And placed a hand on his chest.

Narus smiles and murrs "Sleep well?" he asks wagging his tail "it is nearly time for the evening meal"

"Perfect her breathing is hypnotic." He said stroking her back. He was smiling at him eyes soft.

he chuckles lightly "Its how she wraps you around her little finger, hypnotized by her breathing" he says jokingly as he helps them up "her, some clothes for you"

He put the clothed on reluctantly letting the child go. He was happy for the close contact he could get. He watched as she was gently laid on her cot.

Narus smiles as he spends a little time with his adoptive daughter, gently nuzzling and kissing her before he puts her into her cot. "Let us go have dinner, she will be more than safe here" he says with a smile "We will be informed by out guardian when she wakes up"

He followed him to dining hall and sat down.

the hall was oddly a little empty, the temples in some termoil without their highest members to guide them. it was falling to Narus to tend to them so he was going to be very busy in the coming weeks just to get them all organized. For now he was going to dote on Cyprus who in his eyes needed it. "Quite hungry tonight... they have made a decent feast for tonight in celebration of Anubis having actually visited us"

Cyprus didn't have the heart to tell him he was realy hungry. He ate what he could but mostly picked at his food his stomache still on the queasy side.

Narus watched him, trying to encourage him to eat more as he, without really realizing it, ate more than he normally would. The acolytes around the room cheering and toasting to Anubis having blessed them all with his presence earlier that day. some lamenting that he didnt remain for the feast.

Cyprus dindnt feel well. So he left and headed for his private chambers.

the chambers were silent and peaceful, the guardian laying next to the cot perked up and at first growled but when it saw it was Cyprus stopped and settled down, laying down and watching him with a slight tail wag. it was doing its job, watching over the baby protectively. It soon rose and stepped forward, nuzzling gently at Cyprus concerned.

"Im fine I just don't feel the greatest. A bit queasy and crampy itll pass my bodys been through alot today." He reached out and stroked the guards fluffy ears smiling.

the canine nuzzled into the pets and gave his hand a few licks before nuzzling him towards the cot. it seemed to look betwen him and the cot then to the main bed as if trying to tell him to tend to the baby then get some sleep.

He smiled as he gently picked her up kissing her awake. He fed her then sang her to sleep. He layed her down and curled up under the soft warm covers and Imeadiatley feels asleep. Narus and Cyprus both noticed he was a bit pudgy after there childs birth but said nothing now here soon enough they're wish they had.

Narus returned some time later, petting the canine thst watched over the room he joined Cyprus in bed, pulling him close to sleep with soundly. He didnt mind that he was pudgy, he loved him regardless.

Cyprus was already under the covers fast asleep. Hed had a rough day and it showed. (Sure.)

Narus groaned as he spat out the last bits of bile from his maw. hed been sick almost daily now and was starting to get worried although Cyprus wasn't concerned at all. it irritated him and wirried him all the same making him wonder if his lover had done something. "this puking every day is getting old fast" he grumbles
