Beriadan entered the room, holding fresh bandages so he may redress his cousin's wounds. He swept in and kept silent, ignoring the consort as he worked swiftly, he leaned close to his cousin's ear and whispered, "You best awaken, cousin mine. Many still wait for you and I cannot be king, your consort needs you as does your child."
Standing up, he looked at the consort and sighed, "You know that he will be fine, the healers had practically fought away the poison, they are skilled." Patting Tristan's head unconsciously, Beriadan half-smiled.
"But you'll need to be strong. When Erumollien awakens, he shall attempt to ignore all the pain and injury he had received and he would attempt to get out of bed to attend to his duties." To say that he commended the younger male for holding up so strongly was a surprise for Beriadan.
"Though for now, just speak to him, he shall need that." He knew that was what drew their people away from death's touch, when they are reminded of something precious. Love, life, family, all these can bring his cousin back. "You can speak to him about anything, you can even introduce the child to him. He had always loved children." Nodding to the consort, he left.
