Cyprus awoke cringing. "Your not being replaced they are your being rewarded next meeting in goingg with you. My goddess has given me a message to deliver personally to the head priests." He had a look of anger in his eyes. "Where the child!?" He panicked for a second his motherly side taking over.

"Here" he says still holding it, wrapped warmly in a blanket "The next meeting in tomorrow at noon just after the meal... i guess i shall escort you... and how am i being rewarded?" he was curious, if anything it felt like anubis was dissatisfied with him so had his child with another who would take his job once he aged.

He smiled at her warmly. He then looked up at his love for the first time in the longest awaited time ever.

he smiled softly and leant down to give him a deep kiss "mmph, well... next one im having then, got it?" he half asks half says, unaware to Cyprus behind the canine was one of the jackal messenger hounds who faded into the shadows "its only fair i get to experience what you do, although hopefully less painful" he adds ghe last bit with a soft chuckle "So, what shall his name be?"

"Her ill cal her Chione meaning Daughter of Nile for her gougouse blue eyes." He said offering out a finger for her to grasp. "I guess that makes me a mom then." Tears spilled down his cheeks.

he chuckles and smiles tail wagging a bit "Thats a perfect name... and yes... it does. i would say it makes me the dad but shes not mine" he gave a laugh and nuzzled at het gently "Wont sgop me loving her the same though"

"Shes yours you know you being anubis's god touched make her yours. She just so pretty." He was over joyed.

he chuckled lightly and gave them both a nuzzle and kiss "I may be his touched, but im not going to say She is mine over anubis just cause im here, id wake up with some terrible pox" he says and chuckles "Next one will definitely be mine i hope" he says, mentally telling himself its not likely to happen.

"You never know until you try." Cyprus a had a sparkle in his eyes. He was implying lwednes but left off at implications. He was busy stearing at the cute little bundle in his arms. "We realy ought to go to bed its late and we have a his day tomorrow. We both need cleaned up you smell like wet dog I just smell like funk.

"Hey... i shouldnt smell like wet dog" he protests and grumbles "Cmon then, we three shall bathe before bed so we are clean fo the morrow. ill have a servent change the bedding while we do." he says and, showing impressive strength hidden under his lithe caanine firm, lifts Cyprus and Chione easily and starts ealking yo yhe baths "You shall not be walking till tomorrow after you have rested" he tells him simply. the walk to yhe baths is uneventful apart from Narus stopping to tell a servent to change their bedding and have a cot taken to their room.

They bathed quickly and headed to there chambers chione was layed down on the cot. Cyprus layed down next to Narus. He was Sao tired he didn't even realize her dozed off till the next morning.

"Time to awaken mommy" Narus teased him "Someone is hungry and wants feeding, and i think we all know what she wants" he adds implying that Cyprus could breast feed "and judging from the face she is making, my ears and funny faces wont stop he crying for long"

"Alright I'm up hand her to me." He says pulling his tonic down over his one shoulder to expose his small but noticable breasts.

Handing her over Narus chuckled lightly and sat with him "sorry, but she wouldnt take the milk i offered her, that and you should ear the morning meal, you spent alot of energy last night, need to keep up your strength" he tells him and gestures to the platters of food on the table.

The child latched on and drank Cyrus held her with one hand. He ate some fruit with the other. He moved on to meat and bread. He looked so butiful as he ate his golden eyes sparkling. He realy did make a dashing mother.

"you know you look so good right now" he says softly to him "if you didnt have a bably latched on and we didnt have the meeting in a few hours... oh the things we would do" he says letting the implication just hang. as much as he would prefer to be the dominant in the relationship, he wanted to try submitting, even if there was no chance of it, some part of him still held hope that he could carry a child too.

"You wish dogo but we have some priests that will be very angry in few hours." He said and the child detached from him and fell asleep. He cradled her in his arms humming lightly a tune unfamiliar with a bit of a strange rythm.

he smirked "I hope i wont be one of them" he says and starts to get ghem some clothes ready "Anubis dislikes when sould reach him having already been gnawed on by me"

"Well he is the main messenger besides my goddess whom I serve youll understand why soon enough." He looked kinda sad almost grim as he said this.

the canine just nodded and sighed "well till then eat up, regain your strength, youll need it to deal with the blustering blowhards" he says as he pulls out some clothing "It may surprise you to learn... but of all of them im the most open... most of them are set in their ways"
