"Driving tired is dangerous. Almost worse than driving drunk."

[Eskal]

"Do you know how cold it gets in the desert at night?" Jeremy asked.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Not really." Trian admitted.

[Eskal]

"It gets really cold. Like really really cold."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Ah. Well, maybe we should keep driving. But we need to switch off at some point."

[Eskal]

"That can work. I'll drive for another hour or something, then we can switch."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

Trian nodded. Some time passed, and the sun was over the horizon, with the stars coming out into the night sky.

[Eskal]

Jeremy pulled over and stretched his and Kiba's legs for a bit.

Trian took over the wheel, and cruised down the road. The Smiths played on the radio as he drove.

[Eskal]

Jeremy slept in the passenger seat.

Trian looked momentarily at Jeremy. He tried to push his thoughts out of his head, but instead only felt an urge to be close to him. The song playing certainly wasn't helping either.

"Driving in your car,
I never never want to go home.
Because I haven't got one
Anymore."

Trian wanted to change the song, but it struck such a chord in his heart that he couldn't bring himself to, even though he screamed at himself to do so.

"To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die."

[Eskal]

Jeremy stirred a bit, trying to get into a more comfortable position.

[FweepFwopFwoop]

Trian pulled over to the side of the road, and hit his head against the steering wheel a few times, before letting it stay there.

[Eskal]

Jeremy woke up few hours later. "Hm...Where are we?"

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Still in the desert." Trian said as he drove along.

[Eskal]

"You have a bruise on your head."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Whaaaaat, what're you talking about." Trian said.

[Eskal]

"You're forehead has a bruise." His eyes shot open. "You didn't get into another accident did you?"

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"If I had, you would have woken up, right?" Trian pointed out. "There wasn't an accident, you just need to wake up, man."

[Eskal]

"That still doesn't explain the bruise on your head."
