"So, uh, how cold does it usually get around these parts?"

[Eskal]

"Do you really want to know?" Jeremy asked.

"Spirits, I don't, do I?"

[Eskal]

"Probably not," Jeremy said. "There's a reason why Kiba's so fluffy."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"You mean besides being so adorable?" Trian asked, and he smooshed the dog's face.

[Eskal]

Kiba licked Trian's face.

Trian laughed. They did some more walking before Trian's pace began to slow even further. "Can we go back home now? My feet hurt."

[Eskal]

"Sure."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

Once back home, Trian plopped onto the couch. "Hoo boy."

Jeremy let Kiba out in the yard so he could run around a bit more.

Trian's omnicaster came to life as he got a call from Treyza. "Heeeey, how's it goin' you two?" She asked.

[Eskal]

"We just got back from a walk."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"That's cool. Trian, guess what?" Treyza asked. "Astromo and his wife are having kids! Our big brother's pregnant!"
"Really?" Trian asked.
"Yeah, they just found out. He's about five months along."
"I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees I beat him to it." Trian grinned and rubbed his belly.
"I know, right? Everyone's really sad that you can't be here with us right now."
"So am I."
"Well, that's it. I just wanted to share the news. Everyone misses you, so take care." 
"Thanks, Treyza."
"Yeah, yeah. I know tonight's a big night for you and your boo, so you two have fun. And don't go making any more accidental babies!" Treyza stuck out her tongue and hung up.

[Eskal]

Jeremy smiled. "That's nice news."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

"Yeah. I wish I could be there to congratulate them." Trian sighed. "Well... Positives! I'm here with you."

[Eskal]

Jeremy smiled and sat down beside him. "Very true."

"So, what's the plan from here? Take a nap and then get lunch?"

[Eskal]

"Sure. I can message your feet if you'd like."

[FweepFwopFwoop]

Trian smiled. "You are just the best, you know that?"

[Eskal]

Jeremy chuckled and started messaging Trian's feet.
