"Okay, let's do it" Jeff said, feeling another contraction setting in. "Aaaaaaah" he exhaled as the bore down with the contraction to push, Sophie counting as he did so.

"Good job, just like that....eight, nine, ten and breathe out", Sophie said and stayed at the end of the bed now to see if it worked. "Come on. One more, Jeff. Deep breath, block and push", she said.

Jeff immediately bore down to push again, exhaling with an "aaaaaah" as he pushed while Sophie counted, encouraging him.

"That's it......eight, nine, ten and breathe out", she said. "Can you give me one last for the contraction ??", she asked him.

Jeff pushed a third time with the contraction, exhaling as Sophie kept count. Jeff could really feel the pressure building inside him as the baby moved further into his birth canal.

"Yeah, that's it. Eight, nine, ten and breathe", she said. "Good job, Jeff.....there was now a bigger flow of amniotic fluid. That means that your little boy moved a bit", she explained and smiled.

"That's great!" Jeff said, catching his breath as he prepared to push again.

Sophie nodded and smiled. "Okay. Then give me another good push. Come on. Deep breath and push, Jeff", she said while gently pulling his buttocks apart.

Jeff pushed hard, exhaling with a moan as he bore down to Sophie's count.
