The Zioruta pushed with all the strength he had left in him, but it wasn't much. He squeezed on either side of his bellybutton, forcing the egg out one inch at a time. Nectar oozed out around the edges of the egg, and this time, purple blood started oozing with it.

Khell heard Embersoul chirping and trilling as a way to encourage him. By some strange way, it inspired confidence in Khell. Another rippling contraction and the queen egg was halfway out.
