he watched saddened then had a small idea and smiled "here hand her over and lay on your side" he says softly getting soto to expose his teats, he gently lowered the kitten to it. he collected a small item looking like a ribbed piece of wood and a stick then rubbed them together gently against the kitten stimulating purring. it only took a few momebts before she was drinking. "there we go... we just need to keep her warm and 'purr' to her"
