Silas came home about an hour after the 'poop debacle' to a sleeping husband, two giggling toddlers, and a sick looking dog "What..." he turned and looked down the hallway, making sure he had come into the right apartment "What on earth is going on in here?" he asked, shutting the door and walking over to the couch.
Silas placed a hand on Sidney's shoulder, squeezing lightly to wake his husband from the sleep he was soundly ensconced in. The twins had managed to pull every toy from their bedroom into the living room - there were squiggled lines drawn on almost every wall with permanent markers, no less. A carton of milk had been up-ended on the floor, soaking into the carpet underneath the couch and coffee table - all in all, it looked like a tornado had ran through the living room and their names were Titan and Theo.
Silas took a deep breath as he took in the entirety of the destroyed living room - he could feel the anger bubbling, wanting to surface, but he had never lost his temper in front of the twins, and he'd be damned if he was going to do it now. "Sidney... I think we need to work out a new schedule."
(Yay terrible twos!)
