Jaylen rolled his eyes as he headed toward the receptionist desk, sipping his coffee slowly. Thankfully the receptionist was a different one from last night, and she also happened to be African-American, so she didn't give Jaylen a weird look - which he was also grateful for. He checked them out of their room as quickly as possible, returning the hotel keys. He turned back to Logan and shrugged his shoulders "Taste's fine to me... You're probably just used to Starbucks coffee."
Jaylen walked ahead of Logan once again, still slightly affected by the words spoken earlier before they got on the elevator. How could Logan be so dense and not realize that he had practically insulted Jaylen? He knew he couldn't dwell on it for long though, he needed to focus on driving and getting them home safely. He tossed his duffle bag into the trunk when they got back to his old clunker and he sighed as he let the trunk drop with a heavy slam "You gonna have to direct me to your house... I don't have GPS..." Jaylen informed Logan as they got into his car once again, cranking the engine over several times before the old car finally did start up properly.
