Marcus could feel the concern and support of his husband with all of this, and let's say he's very thankful to the gods that he said the truth to Rorik. Was there even something to fear for at the beginning? None. He should have trusted his lover more. What a fool he has been.

Instead of cement ceiling and walls, they have rounded tree barks to surround them with, vines climbing along and fruits lazily hanging at the top. Flowers littered the wooden walls, appearing as natural blooms of a new spring. The house was all wood and plants, and it was like a house of forest flora paradise.
Us forest fairies live in trees. The house's door just teleported us to our 'home'. All you saw back then was an illusion, sorry. Hand in hand they went deeper into exploring the natural habitat of the Greenfellow's, until they were made to sit first on a thickly moss-covered bark, that was their couch. Chirping birds can be heard from above.
Wait here, I'll get your father. She was about to leave when she remembered something. Before I forget, I invited your sisters over. and with a poof she disappeared.
