Dragon Offering

It was delicate push and pull job. Acrux had to look after his mate while moving the lump of, in essence, flesh, furhter down Caleb's womb, and his finger had to continue to massage the cervix that was in no way prepared to dilate. Sweat dripped down the dragon's forehead as he continued with the maneuvering, keeping everything as gentle as he could.

"ok, the baby's in position, you can push a bit harder now... " he said after god knew how long. "Come here, you might find it easier when you sit up taller." he said ever so gently, scooping Caleb up from the sandy ground and settled him on his thigh. He could hold him with one arm while watching the passing of the baby this way.

"good, hold your breath, and push." he said. With a bit of groany moan, the first push had the fetus breaching through the barely dilated cervix.

Caleb's eyes filled with more tears as he fell back again and panted softly, squeezing his eyes shut and swallowing weakly as he moaned. Feeling as the finger pressed against his cervix, happy that at least this time the children were inside of his womb, not eggs backing up his insides. He could eat and he could breathe normally, he was just pregnant, this time more comfortably so and yet the other humans had ruined it for him. His triplets had turned into twins so easily with just a few beating blows, he grimaced as he was helped up against his partners chest. He gripped onto the dragons arm and shifted his hips forward as he pushed as best he could, squeezing his eyes shut when he focused on pushing with the right amount of force.

"yes doing good Caleb. You are doing so good..." the dragon encouraged the distraught human, his finger was removed from his vagina, now just cupping his genitals to monitor the pushing of the fetus. It was delicate job, but luckily the dead baby wasn't too big yet. It was barely 6 months and the malnutrition Caleb suffered had restricted its growht. the little dilation Acrux had created was almost sufficient for it to pass ...

"take a deep breath now, pant... then push again.." Acrux instructed, holding his palm around the lower belly of Caleb's feeling the muscle tightened as his mate grunted in such sad-filled moans, moving the baby little by little out. it had been forced through the tight opening and entered the vagina, and the trickle of blood again started.

He didn't feel like he was doing good, he felt as if he was doing horribly, with the pain of his belly and the way his head throbbed just like the rest of his damaged body. Caleb almost wished he hadn't been pregnant at all, he wished that their vacations went as they expected and nothing bad happened. Especially the loss of a child and the loss of his sisters love, he moaned between pushes, panting as best he could before he was pushing again like Acrux told him to. He grimaced as he bore down and hissed as he felt the warm trickle of blood, whimpering at how long it took to birth their lost angel. "Its... Its not an egg? Like the others?" He asked and looked up to the sky again with a grimace, his hands pressed against his belly as he shifted, there was pressure now,"Is it coming?"

"i-it's not an egg... no, Caleb. it's not an egg..." Acrux said, his voice shaky. He had a finger slipping through to check his progress and his fingertip was touched with something soft. He had to bite his lip hard to hold in the sad howl that was threatening to leave his chest. "that's no, not an egg...."

the dragon took another breath and rubbed on the lower belly of Caleb. "shh it's coming. it's small, just keep that pressure on, it should slip out after passing your, hmm, your cervix." he said holding Caleb closer to him. "it's going to be fast..." he whispered, almost like he was talking about how fast this life had been gone.

He didn't know why but that made it more painful to know that their baby had no other protection but it's fathers womb and he sobbed once again. It made it more of his fault and he wished that he had been taken instead and not them, but knew that was selfish to Acrux and the children as well. So he kept his thoughts to himself, moaning at the discomfort his mates finger gave him when he pushed into him again.

Caleb squeezed his eyes shut and tears seeped out as he clutched his heavy belly, grimacing and biting down on his lip as he was shushed. He needed to save his strength, but he had so much to say and yet he kept his mouth shut. He needed to focus and he did, he went silent as he pushed again, pressing his face to his lovers chest and moaning as he bore down on that form inside of him. It didn't feel like it was going fast, it felt so agonizingly slow.

That sad moan from Caleb was adding to the heartbreak. Acrux could only rub his belly and encourage him to push. More blood oozed out with the placenta entirely detached and coming through the cervix.

"Doing very good Caleb, you are doing such a good job." the dragon muttered, his voice grumbedl in his chest and passed right to Caleb who had pressed itno him. He clenched his jaw tight feeling the baby slowly sliding out, more and more of it filled Cale'bs vagina and he removed his finger, giving way for the fetus. The small body was so soft, it made it difficult for the muscles to work on squeezing it out.

There was a pressure and he did his best to keep pushing with it, not even taking a breath as he kept bearing town for an entire minute until it felt as if he would faint. He grimaced and his head fell back against the dragon's shoulder, his voice was gone now as he could do nothing but moan. His legs planted in the sand and his body held by Acrux as he helped hold him at a better angle for the birth, he panted heavily. Working up a sweat, he'd never thought it would be this hard trying to birth something like this, his mate had said it was small. But it didn't exactly feel small at all and it didn't feel like he deserved the praise Acrux gave him because he wasn't doing a good job at all. Until it was coming, he felt it coming, filling hin backwards and solidly coming out of him the opposite way of how it got in but all too soon. As it passed the cervix the baby all but fell out of him, limp and warm but only from its birth fathers own temperature. He shut his eyes tightly and turned his face away as he groaned when it was out, sinking against the dragon and breathing heavily.

Acrux's heart broke into a million pieces again watching his mate pant so hard and fell back onto his shoulder so tiredlly. He was panting so hard, trying his very best to push the dead fetus out. "shh you're doing so well..you are so strong babe... keep this coming..." he pressed a kiss on Caleb's sweaty forehead watching anxiously at his opening, cupping his folds when he felt it gaping open with Cale'bs effort... then it came.

Acrux would have looked away, but he froze wtching the tiny baby slipped out with the help of the blood soaking thorugh Caleb's canal. The baby was slim, looking more lithe than a normal baby with the dragon genes in it, but it was reddish and bloodied. the skin was underdeveloped, but it was clearly in the shape of a baby with a big head and a little tail behind. Acrux widened his eyes looking at the lifeless form, his teeth sank into his lowerlip and he just froze there.... and it took him several minutes to break away from it and turn to hug his mate tight. "that's done Caleb....." he said, his entire body trembling.

Caleb sobbed at the slight emptiness, he panted weakly and tried his best to avoid the urge to look, he wouldn't be able to contain himself if he looked at them. Their lifeless body, he pressed his face into Acrux's chest and gripped onto him, his body still ached but at least the babies were okay. The rest of them at least. He moaned softly into him and his hand went to his belly to hold it, he hadn't been in so much pain before. Emotionally or physically, but he was okay, he would live on, even if their first lost child wouldn't. He grit his teeth and shook his head. It wasn't done, he had made a promise when he was being beaten half to death,"You have to hurt them... Hurt all of them who did this." He whispered.

Acrux closed his eyes and a lone tear trailed down the corner of his eye. He sighed and waved his hand, where brilliant lightsappeared from no where and bundled up the tiny body laid on the ground. he would hide it, stash it away from Caleb to sheidl him away from this sad little life.

He sighed and placed his hand on Caleb's lower belly, soothing rubbing him while he used his magic to give Caleb a final overall check. The ohter babies were alright, oblivious to the lost of their sibling, one even stretched out with the added sapce around them, but they also weren't as strong as Acrux would have wanted. "yes, they will pay... they WILL pay..." he said, his voic grumbling as the anger slowly displaced the sadness. His large palm enveloped Cale'bs bump and he added. "close your eyes for now though, Caleb. Get some sleep... we will return ot the village tomorrow and show them the consequence of messing with you...." he said with fury broiling in his body.

Caleb moaned softly as the children squirmed lightly at the new space, stretching within him and he grimaced at the warmth from the dragons magic. He hated that he had put Acrux in a position of exhausting his magic, he knew how much it took from when before they were mated, how much it took to create that potion to bond their lives. The human hated his village for leaving him to die, for killing his child and almost the other two as well, he burned with a passionate hate for them. As he thought about the village up in flames, his old 'home' burning to the ground with everyone in it. It wasn't even equal payback for the young life they had taken.

The human nodded weakly and he relaxed slowly against his lovers chest, he was cool against his warm skin and he calmed as his body lost its tension for sleep. He was so exahusted, it's all he wanted to do despite the anger as he drifted off,"Take us home." He breathed,"I wanna go home..." He sighed and he was asleep soon enough.

The dragon nodded. Holding his mate close, he flapped out his wings and urged for his whelps to all come together. He made didn't mind when he spread his wings and soared to the sky, making sure he made a big enough scene that even teh village could see clearly that the dragon they had feared for so long, the one they were sure wouldn't come back for Caleb - was back indeed.

The dragon was happy that the village would probably have a sleepless night tonight, fearing for the unknown fate that awaited them all. He had placed a magical bond - no one could leave the proxmitiy until their return.

they got back to their home and Acrux quickly settled Caleb onto their soft bed. he sighed and relaxed, straightening up and swayed. He held his forehead... he had overused his power today in an attempt to save his child and in evertyhgin that happened within the day. He felt drained himself, yet he still got a little package with him. Glancing at Caleb again, he made sure he was asleep before disaappearing to the garden - he would have to bury their baby. A son, in fact, already looking very human like, and he buried the little baby at the garden.

He returned to the bedroom feeling even more drained, and crumbled beside Caleb, holding his mate tight to let go of all his sadness.

The human curled into the dragons chest when he returned, their shells moved so their father could wrap around Caleb and settled down again. Their family laid in bed, the six of their little dragons laid with them as Caleb healed slowly, with the help of Acrux's magic. He didn't mean to leech off of him but he couldn't help it, being his mate, half of everything was his. His life force, his magic, the bond between them made it so.

It took a few days for Caleb to wake up enough to realize where he was and slowly able to heal as he ate and drank, restoring his health little by little. The village was still trapped, unable to leave the territory or have anyone even come in either. He woke up three days after what had happened and looked almost immediately for Acrux, slight panic coming over him. Though he felt at least three of their children against him, resting with him and waiting for him to wake up again. He smiled softly at them, stroking their backs, as they purred and nuzzled closer to him,"Hi little ones." He murmured and sighed laying his head back again,"Acrux?"

Acrux had been out taking some sun. He was feeling refreshed today, and he knew that woudl be the same for Caleb. Their bonding allowed them to share almost everything, especially withit strengthening dramatically over the past few days. He was in his dragon form, out in the garden, laying out his wings and enjoying the sun. Through the bond, he knew his mate was awake and the spark of panic had him moving.

Coming through the multiple doors and corridors, Acrux had with him 3 of the early risers. He had one landing on his shoulder and two other whelps flapping their tiny little wings, followng him closely in the air. he entered the room and flashed a smile at the human. "hey lovely. i'm here." he climbed onto the bed and pressed a kiss on his forehead. "you have had a long rest babe...." he scooped him up, helping him sat up after the days of unconsciousness. A few joints popped on Caleb and the dragon was quick to start massaging on his stiff limbs. He hesitated for a split second, but his hand eventually laid gently on Caleb's bump. "our children missed you so much... last night they all squeaked together for 15 minutes straight. I guess they attempted to wake you up.... luckily they didn't succeed. I woudln't want them to realise how well they could be acting as alarm clocks." he smiled gently and pulled Caleb closer to him.

The human looked go his mate and smiled at him then the site of his other three children, as they landed on the bed with him. His hands rubbed at their heads and hacks gently, kissing their noses,"Morning." He murmured, closing his eyes as his forehead was kissed and nosing the dragon lightly, groaning lightly when he was moved. He still ached, healing slowly but steadily, but it wasn't too bad,"Yeah, a well deserved one." He sighed and placed a hand on top of the others, smiling swiftly for only a moment before it faded,"I'm sure they'll try again and maybe even succeed one time." He replied and chuckled weakly, he looked to their whelps who cuddled around him then down to his belly,"How are they?"

"oh please don't. They are dragons, not roosters!" Acrux groaned dramatically. hte attempt for a little teasing died on his lips soon as they addressed Caleb's belly. "well they are as good as they can be.... still recovering. might need a little time to stabilize, but overall they're good. You just have to keep yourself at a good mood and get a lot of rest." the former wasn't strictly necessary, but Acrux wanted to add this so Caleb woudln't dwell in that sadness for too long. The other bruises and cuts were almost all healed on Caleb's body, but internally he still needed some time. "breakfast?' Acrux suggested, cupping Caleb's belly with one hand,, he summoned the basket of fresh pastires to the bed. "i'm sorry for not noticing this earlier... i should have been looking for symptoms before i decided we could part..." he sighed, moving his thumb across his belly fondly.

"You tell them that." Caleb grinned lightly and looked down, taking in a breath as he smiled,"Good. They're safe, that's all that matters." He murmured,"I'll rest more when we get our revenge." He looked up at Acrux, a fire igniting in his eyes as he did, grimacing as he pushed himself to sit up slowly. The little dragons chirped and he stroked their heads again,"Yeah, I could eat a horse." He said, bringing one of their whelps up into his arms to kiss their belly, making them squeal and squirm. Tail wagging happily, he smiled at all of them and was glad to be adding two more to their ranks. As he sniffed and looked towards where the dragon had summoned breakfast,"It's okay. We couldn't have known." He said, he wasn't sad any more, he was more angry than anything else, he reached for some bread and took a bite.

the dragon smiled at how effectively their whelps were making his mate happy again. He was also thankful of their presence, otehrwiset there woduln't be as much distraction. The fire in Caleb's eyes was shared by Acrux, who nodded solemnly. "They would pay, dearly..." He said brooding ovver teh thought.

WIth breakfast arriving, everyone chimed in, even the whelps also looked cruiously at it and grabbed their own share. They were still small and the danish one chose was almost as big as itself,but nonetheless he still flapped his tiny wings quick enough to tally it up and brought it to his little corner to dive himself into it. "Come on, you greedy little one, can't eat that all up yourself." Acrux chuckled and pushed another whelp towards the danish,"sharing is a nice virtue. Learn it." he announced to the two little dragons and shared a smile with Caleb.

"Are you ready?" Acrux helped Caleb up afterwards, The human was still a little wobbly on his feet. Acrux held him around his waist, cupped his belly lightly, and put on him a new robe that was soft and white, laced with gold embroideries that made him look magnificient - a magnificent angel of vengeance.

The human agreed whole heartedly, he wanted the village to pay for taking one of their young away from them before they had a chance to meet them. He looked to the two whelps who now shared the danish, grinning gently at them as the little dragons filled their bellies. Caleb leaned into Acrux more and nuzzled him,"Now?" He looked at him but didn't stop as he was pulled up to his feet, grimacing when he balanced himself against the other. Smiling briefly as his belly was held and pulled the robe over himself with help from the large dragon, he tied it off and closed his eyes. "Will I go with you?" He asked him,"I probably should stay here with the children." He wasn't sure about his choice, but he knew what it wouldn't take much to change his mind,"What will you do to them? Burn them?" He kept his voice low so the children wouldn't hear.
