I was sitting on the couch, napping, resting on my back. God this baby was taking forever to get here. My big pregnant belly protruded from me, streching my hoodie and sweatpants. I rubbed it a little. "Hurry up" i said towards the baby, hoping it would hear me. I turned and looked at the guy in the rocking chair. He too looked like he was overdue. "Hey, you good there man?"

"Damm, I know how you feel. This one here keeps kicking me in my bladder at night." I chuckled a little then froze. "Ughnnngh" I groaned. God what was that? I rubbed my gut a little and took a deep breath. "So, how many babies are you pregnant with?"

My eyes widen. "8 babies! Wow, nvm, i guess i don't know how you feel." I said. 8 babies though, wow. "And here I am complaining about one." I rub my belly a little more, feeling a slight throbbing pain forming in the pit of my abdomen. "No, Im not ok. I'm a week overdue and I think I'm having slight contractions."

I sighed a little, rubbing my stomach. "I'm fine, just small contractions." I wince however, as the actual contraction sets in. "Oh god, why here?" I say just out there.

I take a deep breath, feeling the contraction end, and the muscles wrapping my abdomen relax and the baby kicks from within. "I need to get the stuff ready for birth." I say, attempting to sit up from the couch.

I lean against rocking chair more and find pillow put on my back and relax

Getting up, I waddle over to the bathroom door and enter. "Where are the towels!?" I shout back to Matthew. I feel like the baby is gonna fall out of me, so I sling a arm around my stomach and support my back.

As i grab the towels, another contraction rips in me. "ahhh!!" i scream, holding onto the counter for support as my legs buckle underneath me.

The contraction isn't as bad as it was a minute ago so I slowly stand up and turn on the faucet. "Yea...I'm fine!" i shout back as I tossed water in my face.
