Alex went into the bathroom and turned bathtub on hot, letting the water flow into the tub, and fetched a towel for him. He quickly returned and gently helped him off of the bed.

Connor cried silently as Alex lifted him. "Carefu-ARGH!" a contraction ripped through him and he screamed loud enough for the entire faciltly to hear.

"Connor, what's the matter?" Alex asked worriedly, setting him back down on the bed as softly as he could.

Connor breathed and rubbed his stomach as the contraction slowed down and disapeared from his lower abdomen. "I'm...I'm fine Alex. Just in pain from earlier."

"Connor, don't lie to me," Alex said, frowning. "Was that a contraction?"

"I-" But before Connor could answer, another contraction caused him to double over in pain, his back giving out and he fell again to the floor. "Alex! Alex, I can't move!" he yelled, unable to lift his legs to support him off the floor.

Addison nodded slowly, but sipped at his cocoa in thought. "I..." he trailed off, looking up to Pregali, "I'm... I'm sorry..." He looked back down, placing a hand on his stomach, "I just..."

Tom's phone beeped again. "Sam, you're gonna have to come with me this time" he said. "They're saying Connor's gone into labour!"

Connor was on the floor, his breath was coming in short, fast rasps. He must have broken his spine or something because he could lift his legs to help with getting him off the floor. The contractions were long and painful and didn't help with the pain from his back. Tears rolled down his face as he lade on the cold floor. Unknown to him, blood begun to leak and from between his legs.

Alex pressed a button on the wall to signal they needed nurses to come to their room. Alex knealt by Connor's side, holding his hand. "I'm here Connor, it's okay," he said. He was so worried about his friend.

Connor shook his head "ok" and squeezed Alex's hand, another pain from his back causing another contraction. "Oh god Alex, I need to...tell you something" he said, his breath interupting his voice, "I..have. to give..brith via c-section ARGH!" Another contraction came and more blood begun to pour out from his legs, a large puddle flowing on the floor, covering the tiles of the room.

When Sam got Thomas's message, he stood up so quickly that his breasts and butt began to quiver violently, "Hold that thought, Addison. One of the test subjects is giving birth!" As he left the cafeteria, he called Tom on his phone and said, "Tom, I got your message, just tell me where Connor is and I'll be on my way."

"He's... In his room. With Alex. Hurry up!"

Connor tried to shift with the fact that his baby had begun to press hard against his pelvis, trying to find a way out of him. He was screaming in pain now, tears flowing as fast as blood was from between his legs. His skin was becoming more and more pale with every second he was done on the ground. "Don't let me go" he said to Alex "I want to live to see my baby"

Sam was panting as he opened the door to Connor's room as he heard loud screams coming from the bathroom. He went to the bathroom and saw Connor on the floor writing in pain, "Connor, it's me, chief scientist Pregali. It's gonna be okay. Just breathe and then push."

Tom came in hot on Sam's heels. "We're here for you, Connor!

"Tom! Remember..ARGH!...what I said?!?!" Connor panted as he tried to talk. "Please, you have to cut him out of me!" Connor grabbed Tom's arm and tried to sit up. He screamed as his back gave him terrible pain. "Oh god, he's coming, the baby is coming!"

"Well then it's a good thing that I decided to bring some anesthesia then!" Sam said as he brought out a large cylinder that he had somehow brought into the room. At the end of the cylinder was a long, clear hose which ended in a face mask which Sam fitted over Connor's nose and mouth. After turning the cylinder's knob and letting the gas leak out through the hose, Sam gripped one of Connor's hands and said, "Everything's gonna be okay, Connor. I promise."

Connor nodded his head, his tears slowly coming to a stop. His eyes shut and his arm went limp as his body fell to the ground again, limp. His pregnant belly grew and rose with the contractions. "I'm....ready...cut him out." Connor placed his hands on top of his belly, feeling the baby trash about inside of him.

Sam nodded before he got out a pair of surgical gloves and a face mask out of his coat pocket. After putting them on he said, "This is gonna be messy. Tom, you know the patient better than I do, would you like to do the honors?" handing Tom a scalpel he also got out of his coat pocket.
