"I see" Keith said as he followed the boy to the park. He examined at some of the benches nearby and took a seat all while examining the environment around him. The place looked to be a bit of modern advances with that of the ancient past. He reached for his phone, jokingly to see if he could even get a signal and also to take a few pictures of the environment. "I'm certain you'll have plenty of friends to play with as time goes on."

Darkfire nods but the kids avoid him. Soon the adults take the kids away leaving darkfire confused and alone with Kieth

Simon continued down the path, waving to one of the shadow-things as he passed by. He was thinking again- his best bet would probably be to reach civilization, and find some food (and hopefully some clothes that were better than a blanket), but he wasn't exactly sure who controlled "civilization" around here. For all he knew he might be heading for another one of Zero's tribes.

While he walks he sees a bright light that the shadow creatures seem to avoid being too close to. It seems to be a ring of fire that isn't burning anything but the shadows that get too close.

He stopped and shaded his eyes, trying to get a look at the fiery ring, then moved closer to investigate.

"...huh, I never thought I'd see anything here that would remind me of Johnny Cash."

[Okamiryun]

A figure inside the ring of fire looks up. "Feel free to come on in. It won't burn you. It's my protection from those monsters."

Keith noticed the kids avoiding the male and soon their parents had arrive to whisk them away. He could not help but feel like he was to be blamed for the incident, which prompted him to sigh a bit. "Let's uh see if there's somewhere else..." He had a feeling that there were more besides Jake who had grudges towards humans. What did it exactly take for them to get he or anyone else to his knowledge, were not there to harm them? He was probably going to find a club to drink at by the way everything was turning out.

Jake walks over as darkfire walks back saddened. Jake sighs and picks darkfire up "I'm sorry kid, hey lets go get Shiko to make some ice cream." He glances at Keith "it was nice for you to let darkfire come see other kids, but dark elves are allied with zero. Darkfire is a drow child so every one not part of our group fears him. I calmed everyone that left already so no one will freak out."

"Ah, thank you," Simon felt self-conscious, but scooted inside the bright circle anyway. "Um, I appreciate the help....I won't take up much of your time, but I'm on the lost side right now. It's complicated. Do you know where I can find a town?"

[Okamiryun]

The male nods "yea I can fly you to town." The male has black skin silver hair and large gold and white wings like a barn owl. "The name is Nillik, what is yours."

[stoichornet]

"Simon Kaga." Simon offered a hand- Nilik didn't look like a harpy at all, or like anything he had ever seen before outside a fantasy novel. "You'd do that? I appreciate it- I'm not even sure where I am right now, so anything to help me figure out where things are...Sorry." He felt warm because of the light, and oddly reassured- someone working for Zero wouldn't have a reason to want to keep the shadows away- right?

Nillik nods and shakes his hand. "K come here sparks." A small fire bird lands on Simon's shoulder. "This is sparks the firebird he helps me. Now to take flight you have to hold on just as much as I do. Dropping from high up is not a good way to go. Sparks will help by make warm thermals so I can actully keep us both in flight. Go it?"

"I see..." He said as he watched the two head off. He pulled out a black journal. It seemed there was no time like the present other than to begin compiling notes, especially when determining the major differences between the light and dark elves. It must have been a pain to be loved by a few and hated by most within the village. Keith decided to elect the next set of hours to himself in making the next set of moves. He could only hope things were alright with Simon.

He was standing on a rooftop of one the town's popular places. The night air helped establish the nice array of scenery was was seeing below him as he drunk from a cup. In just one day going on two days alone, a lot had transpired. The slightly buzzed male had begun to notice his bite and surely as Len told him about the healing properties, the mark was almost gone, nothing but a small scar. He chuckled at the thought before heading off.

"How's he doing" he asked Air upon returning. Aside from just Len alone, he also checked up on the other passengers he accompanied on this bizarre adventure.

"Pleased to meet you." Simon figured he may as well be polite to the bird- in a world like this, anything could be intelligent. "All right, I think I've got it." He nodded, looking again at the bird and the...man? Angel? Phoenix? and hoping that the eggs in him weren't yet big enough to add significantly to his weight. Gravity was a harsh mistress.

Air nods "Len is ok,Shiko spent most of the time healing him. Rai has been hiding in lens room to get away from the humans. Len is resting for now,but you can see him if you want."

Nillik nods and holds onto Simon. Nillik spreads his large wings and flies up. The firebird flies under them once they are high enough. "The closet town is 10 minuets away."

"Got it." Simon was trying very hard not to look down, and to hang on, without being awkward or losing the only thing he had to cover himself, which was proving to be awkward anyway. He returned Nillik's embrace as they flew higher, and felt the warm air from Spark's thermals.

He did in fact glance down, and was actually kind of stunned by the view- in a good way, not in a vertigo-inducing way. Whatever its problems, the world he was in was beautiful, and the forest tops below were no exception. He thought he could see the seacliffs, maybe even the one with Raven's nest, and a very few small black dots, the wandering shadows.

Keith nodded.

"I won't wake him..." Though he probably still would check in on the recuperating figure. He headed inside Len's room and glanced down at the sleeping figure. "Uh...thanks a lot for everything." It would be a bit dumb to tell him if there was anything the leader needed in return, he'd be there, seeing as he was asleep. Instead, Keith felt a bit bold, probably because of the fact that he was already drinking mixed with him seemingly developing feelings for Len at an alarming rate. His lips planted on the liger's forehead, wishing the male a better recovery as he headed over to the other side of the room he slept at last time. With that, he began to close his eyes all while wondering how the next set of days would unfold.

Nillik notices "nice veiw right? See the faintly glowing spot ahead that's the town we are heading for. It's a bit bright for my tastes but it should be a safe place for you." Dispite having large wings his flight is relatively sighlent.

Len purrs in his sleep as Keith comes near his bed. Rai watches from his hiding corner interested by Keith's actions "you like him don't you?"

Keith would have been a bit surprised, but he had an easy way of overcoming that. He turned in Rai's direction, chuckling a bit before shaking his head with a shrug.

"Couldn't tell you if I knew. That was just for the sake of him recovering fully. It's a partial tradition where I'm from." That partial tradition usually involved the female kissing the male's forehead on most occasions, but he didn't need to know that. Keith couldn't tell him a straight answer if he wanted to honestly. They just met a day or so back while they were in the midst of danger yet already he felt some kind of longing connection. It could have been from the bite or maybe there was an actual liking to having kissed the stronger male. Either way, he couldn't place a definite answer, but for now he would sleep it off. He rested his head on the pillow and soon found himself drifting off into sleep.

Rai watches over them for the night. In the morning Len gets up early helping air make another traditional human breakfast. Before going to get some supplies.
