Getting to the couch was hard and he knew it be a softer seat then the chair he'd just left. Course at Charlie's words, the man froze and tried to see the appendage that CHarlie spoke of.

"Wh...." James started though he suddenly heard something upstairs. "Is....Ben crying?"

A pair of triangular ears appeared on his head, twitching to the sound they heard. As if taking note of his state, the growing halted for a moment but the children were kicking up a storm.

"Hm, I don't hear anything.." Charlie said, turning around.
"What the fu- James you have cat ears oh my god.." He reached out to touch them. "Are you turning into a cat? What.." He could probably hear better, so Ben was probably crying up there. "Okay, James. I'm going to be right back, I'm just gonna bring Ben down here.." He ran upstairs as fast as he could, and he quickly dashed back down with Ben. Ben's cheeks were wet with tears and he was sniffling.

"Huh..." James said as he reached up though Charlie beat him to it.

The ears were soft and they twitched to the sensation of being touched. James went even paler as he attempted to take a seat on the couch, once there he reached to feel one. Shocked by how soft it was and the feeling in them. Course the growth kicked back in again and pushed his size bigger. James didn't stop Charlie, too dumbstruck and afraid to even try. Why was he turning into a cat?! The tail flicked back and forth as he tried to wrap his ind around what was going on, though a swift kick always broke his concentration.

"Why can't this...stop...?" James whined to himself.

Charlie put Ben onto the couch, and wrapped him up with blankets so he couldn't get away.
"How is this even possible?" He asked, looking at his swollen belly. He was getting anxious about this situation, wondering how much longer this would go on. This was not a normal pregnancy so the had no idea what to expect. And now he had cat features- a pair of ears and a tail, thrown into the mix.

"I don't know!! Okay?! I don't know!!" James answered, finally breaking down and tears leaving his eyes.

Cat fur was everywhere due to Bean and no one had ever noticed the small hairs that could get into the formula when the container for it was open. Finally the growing stopped when he looked overdue with six children, that was twice his size from when he stopped growing earlier in the day.

(Charlie can have the relization that the formula got contaminated due to Bean's fur. ^^)

He sneezed, and some cat fur flew up into the air. The darn stuff was everywhere! You couldn't escape it.
Charlie's eyebrows went up as he realized what had happened.
"Oh god.. James.. I think cat hair got into the container, and then when you drank some of it, it was contaminated with Bean's hair!"
His eyes dropped to his stomach. "Do you think the babies will be kittens?"

The tears stopped as a look of horror hit his face at Charlie's words. Oh god....he was right!! James knew how bad cat hair was, how it got everwhere and into everything. He'd found it in the sugar bowl in the cupboard once....his grey eyes went to the large mass as he removed his glasses.

"IT...could've been contaminated for even longer than that...." James said. "His fur gets into everything so you are very right on that. I don't know Charlie....we....we might've just made a new species without trying to..."

"I don't know if we can reverse this, James.. you might be a.. a cat forever.." Charlie said. "A- and the kids! They could be the same species!" He was excited at the thought of this, but it was also a little scary. What would they do with all of these kids?
Charlie knew he'd do his best to raise them.

"What if we can do this with other creatures too? We are onto something here.." He mused. But maybe this wouldn't be a good idea if they let this idea out. There are bad things people can do with humans crossed with animals. He thought that the government might use them to make monsters to fight in wars. Maybe it was best to be quiet about this.

He ran his hands along his swollen belly. "How many are in there?" He asked, not expecting an exact answer. He pressed his hands against both sides of his belly, feeling the kids moving inside. How much longer is this pregnancy going to last? "My god, you're so big.. I'm worried.." He said. He knew this big belly had to be heavy.

"Stuck like this huh....probably." James muttered.

He didn't know if such a high dosage would entail. Even more so with the mixing of two species. He could hide these easily, a hat and long coat would work. As Charlie went on, they brought up some good points.

"If the formula gets contaminated again, it might work and make a even stranger species." James added.

With the hands on his stomach a new sensation hit him. It hurt a little but....it felt great!!! The man wiggled a bit in his seat to get comfortable but a feeling of something like pleasure hit him. It was just great oddly enogh.

"I have no idea..." James said, trying to snap himself out of the feing he was getting. "
You're not the only one."

'Well we better not get any more pets then," Charlie said, running his fingers through his hair. "Man I had no idea we would end up like this.. Making crazy cats crossed with humans.." He shook his head, but he was smiling.
He gave his belly one last pat before getting up to get some juice from the mini fridge. He had always preferred grape juice over soda. He did like grape soda, though.

"Do you honestly think I would've thought of this?" James questioned.

THough when they pulled away, the ears slanted a little bit even though he was glad that the strange feeling went away.

"But we can't avoid the issue...what are we going to do with all these kids?" James asked.

Charlie downed half of the small bottle of juice and set it on the table.
"Well we can't put cat children up for adoption so I say we keep em!" He had always wanted a big family. "And if you don't wanna take care of them, I'll be the best parent I can be for them.' Charlie said.

"You can't take care of all of em and Ben." James said. "We can't raise a army of children here though, this house isn't going to hold all of us. Heck, it's barely holding me!! We need to find a bigger place honestly."

[gre-y]

'I will look online for a bigger place. We can move," charlie said. "Well what are we going to do with, well, basically a litter of cat babies? We can't let other people see them, they'll get taken away or something.."

"Look for one out in the country with a big property, it's the only way to keep them a secret." James said as he set his hands on his stomach. "Other than raise em..I don't know what to do with em."

"Ohh James, maybe we can get chickens and a cow! We'll have enough space!" He said excitedly. Charlie had always wanted to have a farm life. He quickly opened a google page and started searching for an area to move into. He took a sip of his juice and put the cup down.

"Chickens and cows..." James repeated.

They'd probably have to do things like that. In order to help pay for the place and to make a bigger food source for the children.

"Those things will be useful." James agreed.

"Yeah, we can get eggs an' milk from them," Charlie chattered excitedly about getting farm creatures.
"Also we can do our work privately on our own property," he said happily as he looked online for a place.

"Right.." James said as he glanced down at his stomach. "Charlie...what are we going to tell em when they're all older? That they were a accident and a by prouduct of it...?"

James was starting to worry now, on the children completly rather than his own situation.

"Well we'll let them know we're proud of them, and we love them first. And then we tell them that they were an experiment, but we're happy with the results." Charlie said.
He wondered how many there would be.
