Looking down at his arms, his eyes went wide as he noticed the new markings. Though a set of claws at the end of each finger was there and he honestly felt ready to panic. Grabbing his clothes and a old blanket laying there, he covered his head and retreated to the house. Paying Robert and Charlie no heed as he went upstairs quickly. Removing the items when he was in his bedroom, he went into the bathroom that connected to his room and looked in the mirror. More markings...his eyes were normal, however there was fur sprouting out of his shoulders and he gave a frustrated sigh. Just great...

"I think he's okay." Robert said. "Mom got him food, it should be here."

Charlie nodded. "I think the food is in the kitchen, under the sink." He said, carefully getting up. He lost his balance a little and tried to steady himself by leaning against the wall. "I'm so clumsy," he chuckled as they walked into the kitchen.

"You okay?" Robert asked as the man stumbled a bit.

Once they got the food out and in a bowl, Robert put it on the floor where Maxwell started to eat it.

"He likes it!" Robert said happily. "Though...where's mom? Do you think she'd like to know?"

Charlie nodded with a chuckle. "Yeah I'm okay." He smiled at the small dog eating his food.
"I don't know where she is. She might be upstairs looking at places to buy livestock online, so you can look for her in one of the rooms," Charlie suggested.

"We should probably leave her be then...huh?" Robert asked.

It took James a while to finally pull himself from his room dressed in new clothes. Though he headed to where Maisie's room was and paused there. Should he bother her? He wanted to apologize and try to make things right. So he finally knocked gently on the door.

"Maisie? I know you're in there." James started. "I'm sorry, I really really am. I shouldn't have asked for you help, it was wrong. I can't remember what exactly happened but I have a idea on what did and I am so sorry. You don't have to forgive me, you probably don't want to."

Charlie shrugged. "Yeah, probably a good idea." He sat down on one of the chairs.

Maisie cringed at hearing his voice at her door. "James, just.. just go away right now, okay? Maybe we can talk about this later or some other day, but not right now.." She said, looking at the closed door. She turned her head to stare out the window.

James gave a sigh as he stood there, pulling himself away from the door and heading down the stairs. Reaching for his coat, he put it on and paid no heed to the two souls downstairs as he just went out the door. Robert tilted his head at seeing James walk by.

"Wasn't that Mr James?" Robert asked.

Charlie saw James leave, but thought nothing of it.
"Yes it was," he replied, thinking the man was probably going to inspect the chickens or do something sciency outside.

"Why would he be going out there with his apperance? I thought the reason to be here was to stay hidden?" Robert asked.

James really didn't know what he was going to do, all he was doing was getting away from the mess he made so that Maisie could leave her room if she wished and not see him.

"Well Robert we have a pretty big property, he can go outside without anybody seeing him. You and Maxwell ran in the fields, and there were still fields after that. He's safe here," Charlie told the boy.

After awhile, Maisie did come downstairs to get some water and an apple. She sat at the dining table, looking down. She wasn't in the mood to go talk to Charlie and Robert.

"Oh, okay." Robert replied.

Course when Maisie came downstairs, the youngster got up and went over to her in the kitchen.

"Mom, he likes the dog food." Robert said happily.

Charlie gave a little nod, and then tended to the babies. Some of them woke up and wanted to eat so he was trying to bottle-feed them.

Maisie looked up, hearing her son's voice. She tried to put on a smile for him. "Good! I got him a good brand." She told him.

Robert gave a smile, gla to see that she was somewhat happy about it. Though the lad was none the wiser to her being unhappy at the moment. An hour passed though and James kept away still. Robert glanced out the window to see no one about.

"He's been gone for a long while." Robert said.

Charlie gave a nod. "Hmm.. you're right.. Maybe we should ask your mama to see if she can find him?" He called for Maisie and she came downstairs. He explained that the man was gone.
She didn't seem very happy about trying to find him, but she agreed anyway.

"Okay." Robert said.

Course as soon as they got outside the sky looked darker and Robert sighed.

"Looks like rain." Robert commented, having Maxwell on a leash.

Maisie sighed. "Zip up your coat, Robert. We better find him before he catches a cold.." She said. Where could the man be? They looked through the barn. Not there. Now they had many fields to try to find him in.

Zipping up his coat, Robert found himself pulled along by Maxwell who wanted to just explore. The barn held nothing and honestly, James was hiding in a old grain silo. The thing was empty, no grain nothing but empty space. The man sighed as he glanced down at his stomach, it was already slightly curved. He knew what that meant, course he hoped that Maisie wasn't in the same situation due to what happened.

Maisie didn't know yet, but she had the same thing happening to her. Although she couldn't tell yet because she was wearing a big, comfy hoodie.

After a while, she was getting worried. Where the heck was he? She soon began to call for him. "James!" At this point, her voice was a hoarse screech from shouting so many times for him. Did he leave the property? Surely he wouldn't do that.

Feline ears twitched to the sound of Maisie calling him, course he raised his hands and put them over the ears. HE didn't want to be found at the current time. Besides, she didn't want to see him earlier why now? This was his home now, he could hide out if he wanted to. When the sky rumbled though, James glanced about as he heard the sound and lightning flashed as the rain started to come down outside. Robert giggled as he adjusted his coat and Maxwell finally paused.

"Dang that's really loud.." Maisie mused. Thunder was loud when you were outside.
"We're ALL gonna get sick unless we find him soon," she said. She decided to call for him again. "James!" She screeched, cupping her hands around her mouth. If she went back to the house without him, Charlie would be worried.
