Charlie held up his hands in surrender. "Okay okay geez! It was just an idea, okay? Calm down.." He took a step back.

"I'm sorry but I don't want to be treated like a animal when I still have a human ind." James apologized.

"Alright, I promise not to spray you with a water bottle," Charlie promised, not wanting to anger his friend.

"Thank you." James said as he set his hands on his belly, pondering on what to do.

[gre-y]

"Hey do you need anything?" He offered kindly. "I'll go get it for you."

[anibus3]

"Food would be...nice. But you should relaly go check on your sister. Make sure she's okay first." James said.

[gre-y]

"Alright, I'll go make you a sandwich or something," he said. "But I'll check on Maisie first." He left the room in search of his sister.

"Thank you. I know I can't check on her cause...well, I've made her miserable probably." James said.

Richard was playing with Maxwell, not really having anythinge lse to do at the moment.

Charlie did find Robert. "Hey, kiddo, have you seen your mama?" He asked.

"She's outside feeding the chickens I think, or just out there getting a breeze." Richard said, Maxwell gave a bark.

[gre-y]

"Alright, thanks Robert!" He ruffled up his hair before going outside to find his sister.
"Maisie?" He called.
There she was, feeding the chickens.
"Hm?" She looked over her shoulder.
"Oh I was just checking up on you. Seeing if you were okay."
Maisie smiled at him. "I'm fine."

A weak smile left the kid though he stayed in the room with Maxwell. James glanced out the window and he could just barely see the two siblings chatting. He couldn't really hear and honestly he didn't want to. He moved away from the window and stayed put on the bed.

When they finished their conversation, they parted ways. Charlie entered the kitchen to make sandwiches for everyone. He brought one to Maisie, Robert, made one for himself, and was going up the stairs to bring one to James.
"I made you some food!" He said.

Richard thanked them for the sand which, though he shared some of it with Maxwell. Ears twitched as James looked at Charlie.

"How is she?" He asked.

[gre-y]

"Oh she's fine. I can just tell she's kind of uncomfortable, though." He chuckled. "Her litter is just wearing her out, ya know?" He told him before taking a bite of his food.

"I know that feeling." James said. "Is she smaller than me at least?"

[gre-y]

Charlie nodded. "Yeah, but she's still pretty big. I'm trying to get her to rest more, but she seems bent on wearing herself out!" He said, shaking his head. His sister was a hard worker.

"She probably trying to take her mind off of the things bothering her. I know I bother...." James replied.

[gre-y]

"That could be it, too." Charlie agreed. He shook his head already. "Man, we've got so many kids already.."

"I can't blame her and I don't, I just wish I could make it up to her.." James said, taking another bite out of his sandwhich.
