"Well, taming your cat-impulses might make her trust you more." He suggested. "You know she doesn't feel safe when you're around."

"I know that, that's why I don't blame her and I have been staying up here; not just due to how big I've gotten." James replied. "I don't know honestly...you can't make anyone forget or forgive what I ended up doing despite my best efforts.."

[gre-y]

Charlie nodded. "Well, we can keep trying experiments until we find something to calm you down." He thought for a moment. "Cat nip!" He said, standing up. "How about cat nip? That calms cats!"

[anibus3]

"Perhaps but...is it safe for the kittens?" James asked.

Catnip was a natural herb that calmed cats down. So he had a feeling it could work but...they'd need a bigger dosage.

[gre-y]

"I'm sure it is! It'll be fine. I can drive out and get some from the store, and we can plant it here so we have more." He nodded. "We'll never know unless we try."

[anibus3]

"Alright, I'll go give it a try with ya." James said.

[gre-y]

"Alright, I'm sure Bean has some catnip toys around her, so I'll go find those. And if it works, we can plant it." Charlie said. "i'll come back when I find it.." And then he left the room to search for the cat nip.

"Alright." James said before giving a yawn.

Sadly James was getting more tired and he ended up falling asleep while waiting for his friend to return.

Charlie had finally found the catnip, but when he returned, James was sound asleep! He decided not to wake him, and instead he crept off to his own room to check on his sleeping kittens.

The litter was to arrive sooner than expected, during his nap the large mass that was his stomach grew even more! Thankfully it didn't double in size but it got close, having the feline like man pinned down at least. It would be a few hours later before the litter was starting to be born, course there were plenty of attempts for James to not cry out but of course, it was a much longer birth due to the sheer amount. Fifteen kittens...five more than last time but still, a great deal of em.

James was passed out on the bed, the swarm of kittens cuddling against him. All of them mewling.

Charlie was in the room after all of the new kittens were born. He didn't want to disturb him, but he tended to the kids while he slept. He fed them and put diapers on them, then set them back down to go back to sleep.

Now all that would have to be done was to prevent more of these kittens from being made. Course James would be out for the remainder of the day, so no issue there.

Since James was out for the day, Charlie took it upon himself to care for all of the kittens. It was a lot of work! Two litters from James, his own litter, and his first kid, Ben! It was hard work, but he did love the kids.

The next day, James awoke and tended to the young still in his room. Getting dressed soon after, he gave a sigh and glanced out the window.

Charlie had insisted that his sister take a rest, and she finally agreed.
Charlie was outside feeding the chickens, while Maisie was inside cooking breakfast. Cooking a meal wasn't too tiring, and they needed to eat! Although, it was getting difficult with her stomach getting in the way of everything.

Richard had noticed his mother struggling but he didn't know what to do. She was getting big and part if him was worried that she'd fall through the floor!! Approaching her, he glanced up at her a bit worried.

"M..mom... Are you okay?" Richard asked.

[gre-y]

Maisie turned around to hear a timid voice behind her.
"I'm fine baby, just a little tired," she said, smiling at him.

"You sure? The floor won't break. .will it?" Richard asked.

He didn't mean anything bad by it. He was only a child expressing his concern.

Maisie laughed a little, shaking her head.
"No, the floor won't break. I promise," she turned to look at him, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

"Okay. When are they coming?" Richard asked.

He did want his siblings to come.
