Marie laughed “Sounds like papa” she said before frowning “What happened? Are you okay?” She said concerned looking towards the front of the cave trying to see if Hunter was close to the cave now

"I-I'm okay...just felt one of the pups m-moving down..." Shadow sighs and relaxes as the contraction fades away.

Marie looked at him worriedly “Papa should be here soon, just..I don’t know…can you hold it back until he gets here?” She said scared

"I-I don't think so...but I'll try...don't be scared..." Shadow says, panting softly as he nuzzles his daughter.

Marie nuzzled back gently “I love you daddy” she said softly and licked his cheek gently watching his stomach muscles contract

"I love you t-too, baby girl" Shadow tells Marie, trying to fight the strong urge to push.

Marie looked at him worriedly “I don’t want you in more pain than you have to be, if you need to push you should push” she said softly

"I-I have to wait...for Hunter..." Shadow groans and yelps, giving in to the need to push.

Marie looked at him worriedly “It’s okay daddy, I’ll help you while papa is on his way back. Whatever you need me to do I can” she said confidently

"A-Are you sure...?" Shadow asks hesitantly between pushes "...I love you so m-much" He gives her a pained smile.

Marie smiled weakly at him “I love you too, what do you need me to do?” She asked hesitantly

"Just...just keep an eye on what's going on...d-down there...and let me know if anything...ch-changes..."

Marie nodded and changed into her human form so she could use her hands if necessary. She stroked Shadows side gently as his stomach contracted violently

Shadow gasps and curls up around his stomach, crying out as he starts pushing hard.

Marie lifted his leg gently so she could see any progress made “Good work, just keep pushing, I can see the bulge moving down so I think you’ll be crowning soon” she said a little nervously

"I-I don't think I can do this..." Shadow whimpers "It..it already hurts so much..." He says before pushing as hard as he can and howling loudly.

Marie stroked his fur gently “Of course you can, you’ve done it before, your body knows what to do and you’re so strong” she said softly encouraging him “The bulge is starting to press against your hole so it’s going to start crowning on your next push” she said encouragingly

"Ngh...not the burning..." Shadow whines "That's the worst part..." He huffs softly and pushes as hard as he can.

Marie smiled “There we go, the heads starting to come out, make sure you keep panting” she said softly continuing to stroke his hair gently “You’re doing so well” she said continuing to hold his leg up as well as the head slowly pushed out
