Shadow stops pushing to catch his breath "Y-You're doing good too...thank you, Marie" He smiles tiredly.

Marie laughed lightly “Don’t focus on me right now, you’re giving birth!” She laughed lightly

Shadow laughs softly before pushing again.

Marie smiled “Keep pushing, yeah, nice big pushes like that, the head is almost out” she said smiling

Shadow pants heavily and pushes as hard as he can.

Marie smiled gently holding the head steady. It finally slipped out with a gush of fluid “Okay, there’s the head, just the shoulders and I should be able to pull it out” she said smiling “Geez daddy, you’re getting through this more calmly than I thought you would” she laughed

"F-For now" Shadow laughs breathlessly "Get...get ready to catch it..."

Marie laughed a little “You said it was harder than when you had us but if that’s true we must have just dropped out” she laughed and held the head steady “I’m holding its head, it won’t shoot across the room”

"You're...you're just saying that...ngh...to comfort m-me" Shadow chuckles between heavy breaths before a strong contraction hits, forcing him to push.

Marie shook her head “I’m really not, I can tell you’re in pain but it doesn’t seem as bad as I thought it would be” she said and gently tugged on the little pup as he pushed until the pup came out with a gush of fluids “It’s a boy” she said smiling brightly and settling him next to Shadow gently. Hunter raced into the cave at the same time “Shadow, I’m sorry” he said climbing into the nest quickly

"We...we have another son, baby" Shadow smiles tiredly at Hunter as he grooms the pup clean.

Hunter curled around him gently smiling “A little boy” he said happily. He smiled over at Marie “Thank you Marie for helping him while I was gone”, Marie smiled gently and nodded “Of course” she licked Shadows cheek gently “You did so good daddy but I’m going to leave you in papa’s capable hands now” she smiled gently

Shadow nuzzles his daughter "Thank you...I-I'm proud of you" He smiles "I remind me to do...something nice for you later on"

Marie nuzzled him back and laughed gently “Don’t be silly daddy” she said softly “I’ll see you later” she smiled gently before leaving. Hunter gently groomed Shadow “I’m so sorry baby, I didn’t know you were in labour”

"It's...ah...okay, at least y-you're here now..." Shadow pants softly, cringing at the pain.

Hunter turned into his human form gently stroking his fur on his head and down his back “You’re doing good baby, try and rest before the next one” he said softly not realising he was already in pain from the second one.

"T-Too late for that..." Shadow whimpers and tenses up, arching his back a bit.

Hunter frowned “This pip was only born a couple of minutes ago” he said confused continuing to run his fingers through Shadow’s fur

"I... I guess they're in a...h-hurry this time..." Shadow groans and raises one leg up slightly.

Hunter grabbed his leg for him raising it gently “I love you” he said softly “You’re so strong, already have one out and I wasn’t even here, you’ll be done in no time at all”
