"Good job, babe. The head is out now" Cinder smiles at his mate "It's in wolf form"

River groaned “In wolf form? So it’s not even that big” he said worriedly before feeling another contraction and pushed down hard trying to get the shoulders out in one go

Cinder gently tries to help get the shoulders out.

River whimpered a little in pain as he pushed down hard again at another contraction digging his fingers into the nest tightly trying to make as little noise as possible

"It's okay, love. You can make noise if it'll help you through this, nobody is going to judge you for it" Cinder says, nuzzling River as they hear another wolf nearby howling in pain.

River shook his head “I’m the alpha, I’m not going to show my pain” he said before wincing at another pain and bore down finally feeling the shoulders come free

"You don't have to do that...showing pain isn't weakness" Cinder frowns a bit before gently tugging the pup out.

River gasped a little in relief as the pup came free, he panted heavily getting his breath back

The pup squeaks and starts to cry "It's a boy, River! He's beautiful" Cinder grins and passes the pup to River.

River smiled brightly holding him close “Hi there puppy” he smiled and kissed his head gently “He’s beautiful” he said softly

The pup squeaks softly and calms down in River's arms.

River smiled stroking his fur happily “What should we call him?” He asked looking up at Cinder tiredly

"How about Stone?" Cinder smiles at his mate.

River smiled gently “Stone, strong name” he smiled tiredly as the pup yapped quietly in his arm. River yawned a little curling up with the pup tiredly

Cinder smiles and lays down beside River to groom him.

River smiled tiredly at Cinder before falling to sleep for a short while

Cinder cuddles his mate close.

Rover woke whimpering a little at another pain about half an hour later “Cinder, another is dropping” he said tiredly

"It's okay, just do exactly what you did with Stone, okay?" Cinder nuzzles River.

River nodded before moving so he was leaning on the edge of the nest kneeling, he swayed his hips a little as he felt another pain and pushed down
